This poor sweet mama to be is Miss Maggie. She is 13 years old and going to have puppies - yep going to have pups at 13 years old. She is blind in one eye. The vet feels she is strong and healthy enough to give birth. When Maggie came in I cried. She was found in the streets on that -20° weather day , nails that were so long she couldn’t walk well and missing more than half her coat due to fleas . Sadly, Maggie has not lived the best life but she is going to live a much happier and better life now. Want to make it clear that the vet feels she will be good to deliver her pups.

Bargs is a 7 week old male mixed breed puppy.
We believe he looks like a beagle / terrier mix. Without a DNA test, the breed (s) listed is our best guess.

Indicate the pup or puppies name on the adoption application. We can a arrange a meet and greet for approved applicants with Bargs or any of the puppies. The adoption day will be approximately on September 25th.

Bargs is currently in a foster home with his five siblings. His foster says the litter is the best that they have fostered. They are all super sweet puppies.
Barqs is the sweetest of sweet. Hes one of the first to come over for pets and loves to fall asleep in your lap. Hes playful and energetic but not overly so. Barqs is a calm, confident puppy who always seems to have a smile on his face.

The Canine Collective is a all-breed, 501 (c)3 non- profit, no-kill, private-owned dog shelter in Plain City, OH. We have adopted over 5,000 dogs to loving homes. We are still temporarily open to the public by appointment only to approved adopters.

To the heartless person that abandoned this sweet senior girl just when she needed you most. She now spends her days lounging on a king-size bed in an air-conditioned home having every one of her wants and needs immediately met.
