Help Us Make a Difference – One Shelter at a Time!

At Day 6 Creations Animal Healthcare Provider, we believe that every animal deserves a chance at a healthy and happy life. While we offer a variety of veterinary services, one of our core missions is to support struggling animal shelters in Negros Occidental and, eventually, across the Philippines.

Right now, we are focusing our efforts on Mary’s Fur Sanctuary, founded by Mary Be Q. Timbol. This sanctuary is home to countless rescued dogs, but they are facing severe challenges:
🔹 Shortage of food supplies 🥘
🔹 Dogs suffering from blood parasitism 🩸
🔹 Lack of funds for medical care, shelter maintenance, and staff support 🏥
🔹 Even Mary herself is battling illness while trying to keep the sanctuary running 💔

Despite these struggles, we have been actively helping them since 2024, providing veterinary care and support. But we cannot do this alone—we need YOUR help!

Expired Pet Medicines: Facts vs. Myths!

As pet owners, we want the best for our furry friends—including safe and effective medications! But what happens when a pet’s medicine expires? Let’s separate facts from myths so you can make informed decisions!

❌ Myth: Expired medicines are just “less effective” but still safe to use.
✅ Fact: Expired medications can lose their effectiveness AND become harmful. Some drugs break down into toxic substances over time, which may harm your pet instead of helping them.

❌ Myth: Antibiotics past their expiration date still work—it’s just a little weaker.
✅ Fact: Expired antibiotics may not fully fight infections, leading to antibiotic resistance, a serious problem where bacteria become harder to treat. Your pet might also not get proper healing, making their condition worse.

❌ Myth: Liquid medications are fine as long as they look and smell normal.
✅ Fact: Liquid medications can change chemically even if they look the same. Some may grow bacteria or mold, which can cause dangerous infections in your pet.
