This girl has opinions and I feel like sometimes I have to video what sheās like when other people arenāt around. When she doesnāt want to do something she can be outright dangerous, but 99% of our daily life is actually calm, cool, and collected. If all goes to plan she will go off to training/weaning this week so I can spend the next two months focusing on work while she can get all the love and attention she deserves to help her blossom.

Omg sheās gorgeous š Some commentary about me having a whip - Obviously my horses arenāt afraid of the whip, though it did come out due to the manners/pushiness baby Lux has been showing. Itās my fault, I have allowed her into my space too much, and for my safety I needed to use an āarm extensionā to reset a larger circle of space to teach her quickly for vet care. You never want a horse to jump ONTO you, the default needs to be away, which is not hers at the moment. I use the whip side by side so she knows if I walk into this area around mom, i will run into this pesky whip flying around and it might hit me (not mom is going to hit me with this whip, big difference) . She learns that she is ok standing outside of this circle and not being by my side like a security blanket. She threw a tantrum that I changed the rules and upped the maturity game on her, but it also reminds her that she is just fine standing farther away from me when things need to get done. I did use positive reinforcement to show her that standing away from me calmly is where to be, but she also walked into the whip a few times before stopping and got offended, so I canāt say it was all positive reinforcement. š¤·š»āāļø honestly, no one is perfect and this worked for us to establish boundaries in a short period of time with minimal confusion.

The little terrorist strikes my slippers! Sheās quite bored without Wynn, her bestie, so I have given her some slack this past week.
