I have a customer who had already purchased a solid chocolate male and when this puppy became available, they decided they would like it instead so now I have the chocolate long-haired up for grabs. This dapple is no longer available. Please see my next post for the puppy I have available now.

I have found a lot of people asking about the maintenance on a long haired dachshunds coat. Tell me how many of you long haired we**ie dog owners have to brush their dogs? I literally do not even own a dog brush and mine stay beautiful. And guess what? I only bathe them with head and shoulders maybe once a week. When they get dirty (and that’s a lot living on our place) it just falls right off when they dry. They are so easy to care for. What is y’all’s opinion?
Edited to add: and very little shedding!
