Ok I may have been a bit hasty about things when I said it was my last longhair litter of the year born a week ago.
My slightly older couple who had been paired 14 months ago decided to make some little darlings finally. 🥰
I was suspicious Tequila Tart was pregnant but was like nah she’s just fluctuating in weight as she often does. But it became very apparent she was having some bebes last week and very early this morning she had two big 118g kiddos.

My only shorthaired litter born this year.

• 2 self PEG boars & 1 self DEG boar•

Earlier in the year I unfortunately had to make the decision to re home all self and crested shorthaired breeds to make room to continue to work on my big 6 longhaired breeds.

However I couldn’t let go of the last of my goldens from my original line, as they are a special part of my stud’s beginning.
So I have decided to breed self goldens very sparingly, just enough to keep my old lines going.

Thanks to Terra and Hashtag Cavy studs for enabling this pair’s union. ❤️
