You will not always have a bowl on you but a bag,,, always.
I could watch this for hours
Update! I saw the chick a few weeks after and it was doing great! Already flying and being mischievous.I am also very much fascinated by crows, they are extremely intelligent, sometimes when i am scatter feeding jake they come and take a few bits of his food, i followed one of them around once, as i wanted to know how it wasn’t full after taking a few bits, this guy took the food flew over to the corner of the park dropped the food on the ground and covered it with anything it could get it beaks on 🤯 I have seen this behavior in one dog before, when she was full she dug a hole and covered her food in the ground for later.Nature is the best tv show i have ever watched.
🐕 Reacting Negatively:If you respond to your dog’s mistakes with negativity or aversive actions, you’re more likely to continue with this behavior over time, resenting your dog and damaging your relationship. Instead, staying calm and centered through mindful breathing can diffuse tension and lead to more positive interactions.🐶 Repeating Commands:Sometimes, all your dog needs is a little space to process information. Constantly repeating commands can confuse them and diminish the effectiveness of training. Giving them this space helps them understand and respond better.🦴Feeding Methods: Are you only using a bowl to feed your dog? Consider this, using interactive feeders like Kongs, scatter feeding, or incorporating play and training into mealtime can stimulate their senses and activate their cortex, keeping them mentally engaged and enhancing their happiness.Small adjustments yet big improvements!
First of all, let’s clarify that these mistakes come from a place of love and don’t mean you’re a bad dog owner. They often result from our natural human behaviors.1 - Kissing.Kissing dogs on their face is a common way people show affection, but there are several reasons why this practice might not be ideal for both the dog and the owner.Kissing dogs on the face can be uncomfortable and stressful for them, as they might perceive it as a threatening gesture rather than affection. This practice also poses health risks, such as the transmission of bacteria and parasites between humans and dogs, and can potentially provoke defensive aggression in dogs. Moreover, it may encourage unwanted behaviors like jumping up or getting too close to people’s faces. 🐶2 - Hugging or cuddling.Cuddling or hugging dogs, especially from above, can be uncomfortable or stressful for them because they may perceive it as a restraining or threatening gesture. Dogs don’t naturally express affection through hugs, and being held tightly can make them feel trapped. This can lead to anxiety or even defensive aggression. Additionally, approaching a dog from above can be intimidating, as it invades their personal space and can trigger a fear response. Instead, show affection in ways that respect their comfort, such as gentle petting or engaging in their favorite activities.🦴3 - carrying or babying.Carrying or babying dogs, especially if done frequently, can lead to several issues. It can prevent them from getting the exercise they need, contributing to physical and mental health problems. Constantly carrying dogs, particularly small breeds, can also hinder their socialization, making them less confident and more anxious in new situations. Moreover, treating dogs like babies can reinforce dependent behaviors, leading to separation anxiety and other behavioral issues. Instead, allow dogs to walk, explore, and interact with their environment to promote their overall well-being and indepe

Even though it's not completely scientifically proven, it's quite evident that our breathing patterns and subtle cues greatly influence our furry companions. Dogs are incredibly perceptive creatures, attuned to our every move and emotion. From the rise and fall of our breath to the tension in our bodies, they pick up on these signals effortlessly. For instance, when encountering a dog, our own fear or tension can be mirrored in their behavior. I once had a client whose dog displayed aggression, and after several sessions, we discovered that the underlying issue might be stemmed from the owner's unresolved fear and anxiety. Through therapy and relaxation techniques, the owner was able to overcome these obstacles, resulting in a harmonious relationship with their dog. This anecdote underscores the profound impact our emotional state can have on our dogs' behavior. In this video, I delve into the two primary approaches to dog training: positive inhibition and positive reinforcement versus understanding the fundamental relationship dynamics between yourself and your dog. By embracing a peaceful demeanor and cultivating a deeper connection with your canine companion, you'll witness remarkable transformations in your training sessions and your dog's overall behavior. First of all, let’s clarify that these mistakes stem from a place of love and aren’t a reflection of being a bad dog owner. They often arise from our default human behaviors.1 - Encouraging Barking Behavior. If you engage with your dog when they bark, you inadvertently reinforce the behavior. While some may not mind, most wouldn’t want a dog barking incessantly for attention. 🐶2 - Feeding Habits During Meals.Having your dog eyeing you while you eat isn’t ideal. Avoid making eye contact, as it can confuse them into thinking they’ll get food. Feeding them scraps during meals can lead to begging(expecting food every time you eat) and salivation. 🍽️3 - Disturbing Relaxation Time.Constantly petting your dog while they’re trying to relax can be bothersome. Let them have their space and rest without interruption. Calling them over to you is better than constantly approaching them.🛋️Remember, every dog is different, and there is no one size fits all but these tips can help foster a healthier relationship and understanding between you and your furry friend.
Keep in mind you don’t want to do this too often as frustration is not something you want in your dogs life, this is just a top off added to every other way you practice recall with your dog. Barrier frustration is not the same as reactivity, however it could lead to reactivity if not taken care of. I would also like to challenge every single one of you to say reliable recall three times:)) #dogtraining #recall #comewhencalled
