🫶🏼🫶🏼DANNY IS FOUND🫶🏼🫶🏼
We are so glad and thankful to all our friends and volunteers who has helped us in every way day and night😭
Our volunteers and a previous adopter were out searching, posting flyers past midnight in hopes of posting just one more flyer so we can receive sighting tips, to bring Danny back to safety.
We posted on Ring, Nextdoor, Pawboost, and as many Facebook groups as possible.
We hired a tracker, Linda who walked miles with her dogs to get his scent trail. We also worked with a coach, Chrisa Rich, who also worked very hard to contact everyone she knew and guided us on who to call and what to ask. They were a tremendous help with guidance and tips.
The key was to post as many flyers as possible because on January 3rd at 8:20am, someone walking their dog spotted him and gave us a call. They stayed with Danny at a distance until our foster was able to get close enough to get Danny back 🌸🌸 Danny had a blue halter and black retractable leash that ended up tangled in a bush.
Although it was a blessing that his leash was caught up in a bush, please do NOT use retractable leash as dogs can get tangled, injured, or even lose their life.
Thank you once again to everyone who also shared our post and stories 🫶🏼 we really appreciate the help❣️ We couldn't have found Danny without the help of everyone.
We are a rescue organization run by donations. Hiring a tracker was only possible because our volunteers gathered money in desperation of finding Danny. We will be taking Danny to the vet today to make sure he is not injured anywhere and healthy. If you can make any donations, it will be greatly appreciated. All of our adoption fees goes straight back to our rescuers in Korea.
Korea had record breaking snow fall, which bursted pipes at the dog shelters and the roof came down. The dogs that stayed at that shelter had to stay in the cold until we were able to find placement in different shelter or bring them here to USA. We are looking for ways to help the rescuers by sending more and dog-safe blankets.
