We spent sometime this weekend preparing for the snow that has arrived. It may have been cold, but you always have to take care of what you have. The hay racks were filled where we winter our cows, bedding was placed new and thick, and we ground feed. ❄️🥶🐮

New calves always make gloomy days brighter 🐮

Ended the day yesterday with 23 quarts and 13 pints of sauce. We will use this for homemade pizzas, meatloaf, chili and spaghetti 🤤

We've got a lot going on in the kitchen today! Sophia is our youngest (2) helping with a batch of pizza sauce!

We may have one more batch to do after this, but we may just eat it fresh rather than freezing it.

We were given the opportunity to pick grapes at Jake's grandparents. Their small vineyard was started MANY years ago and it is still producing! We picked 52 pounds for our family. Altogether we picked over 130 pounds. This will provide grape juice and grape jelly for us for the year!

We were given starts from Jake's Grandma. I would say they were great starter plants!!

Our days lately have been full of hay and spreading fertilizer. Early mornings and late nights. Not pictured are the kiddos always along for the ride in the back seats 🤗

We added Easy Ways to our pastures for our cattle. These setups will help with fly control, they also have a mineral tub and cattle love to scratch on them. They are working great so far and we already see a difference in flies on our cattle!
