Welcome to Living the Dream Pugs (RETIRED) of Jacksonville Florida.

Although my awesome team is now retired-their lives as Bougie Pugs are full of amazing adventures.

This fall we had two RV camping trips…Live Oak and Key West Florida. They are loving being out in public and having adventures.

Hello everyone - PSA

Just a friendly reminder - these colorful holiday treats can cause injury and sickness for our fur babies. Please consider avoiding them.

Also, bully sticks are very popular pet treats - if you must use them please use in moderation … excessive use of bully sticks and like products can cause pets to become restless and or sick as it’s most difficult to digest.

We have decided to retire from the world of Pug Breeders- and will transition our line to BOUGIE PET status!!!

I want to thank all of you - from our clients to our followers for your support over the years.

In the upcoming weeks I will close out our Facebook business page - and start up a social media page for Living the Dream Pugs - to give our clients a place to check in and share updates of their beautiful Living the Dream Pugs.

Our clients can continue to reach out to us via our contact information on your sales contracts. We may no longer be breeding but we are one big happy Pug family and we’re here for you!!!!

Our business profile with Good Dog will also be deactivated.

If you are searching for a Pug puppy to love I suggest searching Good Dog to find an ethical breeder or look into your state’s local rescues.

Currently, we are on vacation- living our best lives.

We are also on a Whelping pause - we will post plans by the end of July early August….and will post updates here on our Facebook business page.

PSA: Please remember pavement, beach sand, docks and any surface in direct sun can be extremely hot and burn our Pug’s paw pads. Please carry them to shady areas or consider using booties.

Brachy breeds have a low tolerance for heat and can become gravely ill. Please provide fresh water, shade and rest.

Water play and Pugs can make for beautiful memories - please supervise and consider using pet approved well fitting life jackets. Test it before you trust it.

PSA: As a breeder of a Brachy breed I highly recommend the use of pet approved life jackets when your Pug(s) are experiencing water play. Check the comments for an example of a properly fitted life jacket.

Grooming and de-bulking our Pugs. We use a groomer’s vacuum attachment. You comb out the fur - press the button and the fur is “sent” to your vacuum canister.

This can be done indoors or outside (age appropriate).

Hello Maleficent and Anakin puppy parents. Today’s milestone: I broke out a “big dog” toy…the tunnel. It was a huge success!

Hello Maleficent and Anakin Puppy Parents. Sir Pugsley- has found his “sea legs” and is now doing the “drunken sailor” stroll. Now all the puppies are toddling around❤️. Oh one more thing…..today they had their first kibble smoothie….and they loved it!!! Maleficent is still nursing them but she’s most definitely weaning. In fact- she has started to lay flat on her belly while visiting- for the sole purpose of playing with her pups! 4 weeks tomorrow!!! Video: Sir Pugsley toddles towards his Momma
