One of this year’s highlights was the fish expedition brought by . It is a great chance to see a lot of different species in their natural habitat. The video was filmed in a lagoon on an island in the middle of a main river. You can see plenty of species, like tetras, headstanders, pikes and other cichlids. It is always interesting to see patches where multiple fish species concentrate while other spaces appear empty. If you want to do an expedition like this, contact and join the 2025 expedition in Brazil’s Amazonas. PS. Who can tell me the cichlid at the end of the third video? You need a keen eye for that one ; ), but we have a lot of experts for that.

Thank you, Pat, for your continuous trust and support. These magnificent wild discus were brought in our last import from Portugal. They have over a year of quarantine, have been dewormed, and are entirely used to eating quality dry food from .international. As you can see, she has a keen eye for beauty. You can also have your dream wild discus by joining our next import in February 2025. After we bringing it, we will ship to you and we ship all over the continental USA, including HI and PR.

Due to the holiday season, the last UPS shipment date is this Wednesday 18th. We will continue to ship by UPS if you’re based in FL or by Southwest Cargo. Today is your chance to score a high-quality wild discus at a discounted price. is having its end-of-the-year auction event. The auction will be held at 2:30 pm EST. You can join the auction on Facebook and YouTube. https://youtube.com/live/nPhmHOqeT_s
The price of the fish at the auction does not include shipping, which entails customs clearance and transport costs. Transport and import costs will be divided accordingly depending on the number of discus ordered. Specifics about the auction: 10 different Wild Discus + a rare couple will be auctioned off. The buyer has 24 hours to pay for the fish. To the USA, the import will be in February to our distributor, La Paz Aquatics! Very interesting fish that we have in stock. Happhaestus Habbemai, known as Mountain Grunter. These are active and staring to take dry food (carnivore) from .international. So far, they seem ok and not aggressive with any tank mate that is not seen as food (small enough to fit their mouths). They max out around ~7”, so a great size for a lot of tank sizes. During our fish expedition in the Amazonas with about a month ago, we could find three types of fish in almost every biotope that we looked. These type of fish were Festivums, Geophagus, and Severums. That tells us, in part, how successful these species are in the Amazonas and other river systems.
