Penny is up for pre-adoption!
Penny is an adorable puppy born on November 23rd, alongside her 9 siblings, to the sweetest mama, Grace. Grace, a Carolina/Whippet mix, who has passed down her gentle and loving nature to Penny. She has a slight black tip on her tail and white socks on her feet which distinguishes her from her siblings. While we don’t know who dad was, we anticipate Penny and her siblings will grow into medium to large-sized dogs. Penny can be adopted 1/24 in Texas and February for out of state transport.
Born in our care, Penny has been surrounded by love and attention from the very beginning. She’s playful and full of puppy charm, ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home. Penny is very curious and likes to explore new spaces. While very independent, Penny likes snuggling for a nap and longs to be with her humans getting all the attention she can. She sleeps in a crate at night and is working on potty training. With frequent potty breaks during the day, she rarely has accidents in the house. She loves being outside picking up sticks to chew on, or bounding through the grass, tumbling and wrestling with her brother, Penny’s loving and spirited personality shines through.

Sweet Bruno has had a very rough start to life! He’s only 10 months old but came into Aninal Control covered in mange, BB pellets, fever and a broken femur.
His amputation and neuter surgery is on Monday and will need a foster for his recovery!
Please consider fostering Bruno who will be the next Rags to Riches comeback story as he was knocking on deaths door. He has been treated for mange, no longer has a fever and is on his way to healthy!
