Happy Sunday 🙏🏻 saved another life from dying this month! 🙏🏻❤️ this little 3 month old British short haired black tortoise shell calico mix w/ a 5 percent of Siamese and Turkish angora mix had a bad eye infection and upper respiratory infection / mild bronchitis when given to me a few days ago. I was asked if I could help. This person got her to me in the nick of time. She’s been treated with eye drops, amoxicillin, warmth and love.

With the holiday season and winter approaching don’t forget to keep your fur kids warm! Remember they need your love and care! So when you take your dog outside remember to make sure he or she is warm. I’d you’ve a cat that likes to go out she for a bit. Make sure she or he is warm! Make sure you keep a eye out for loss animals and help them find there homes. Many people travel. And sadly holidays are a time where animals get lost. Make sure your animal has IDs and collars on at all times. Also getting them microchiped is always smart! For animals who are strays or wild. Take them in find them a home. Or at the very least feed then and keep them warm. Look around seeing if they’ve a owner. Pay it forward. Remember animals are like humans and need your love and support too. Even if not your own! More tips coming as always!
From your girl and her rescue group ❤️
Stay warm!

Meet cuddles. This is her true story! I’ve saved her when she was 8 years old. She was a adorable long haired cat. That id rescued from my abusive Ex 5 years ago. My awful ex would treat her badly and throw her over a fence. I called the authorities on them. for multiple purposes as well as put A restraining order on them . Cuddles used to be really unhappy and potty outside the litter box till she came to live with me . I’d fostered her for a year. Saving her life. After putting my ex in jail then taking care of her. She turned into a very happy snuggle bug that suddenly would let me brush her and faithfully used the litter box etc . Who would snuggle with me and feel safe.
Something all animal lovers and pet owners should remember a animal will act up if they are mistreated or living in a chaotic environment. Always treat your animal with respect like you would a human . Cuddles was abused by her old owner . Now she is happy and healthy .

Cuddles is now 13 years old and lives in southern Minnesota with a kind woman and man where she gets pampered and taken care of .

This is cuddles true life story.

When picking flea treatments go with frontline , revolution or advantage! More pricy but they work. As well as they don’t put your animal at risk for cancer or death. Never buy the cheap brand. They don’t work and have toxins that can’t make your furry friend ill! Also for kittens and puppies that are to small to have a flea treatment and are under the age of 8 weeks. Don’t give them flea treatments till they’re both the right age and weight. Being the right age doesn’t matter if there weight is to small for a dose. It can make them ill as the medicine is to strong for them!
Instead give them a bath with blue dawn soap. Fleas hate it. And yes it has to be blue dawn soap. Lemon dawn works too. However for older cats and dogs 8 weeks and older. It has to be blue or lemon dawn. No other brand or kind as it’s too pungent for your pet and won’t kill the fleas. The other option is getting a special soap from your vet and following the directions to a T. Not everything over the counter is safe or will work when treating fleas.

When flea treating your home. Use vinager safe for animals and fleas hate it. Will kill them. Wash everything in hot water with laundry soap and spray everything down in vinager. As well as a bottle with water , blue dawn dish soap , some lemon juice and some vinager shake well and spray.

Change food and water putting a dash of vinager in the water bowls with the clean water temp. It works. Repeat this Cleanimg process a few times per week the next several weeks as fleas quickly produce. If you want something stronger. You can get a flea spray or fogger that your vet recommends for you. Or research some. Just look at all the pros and cons and decide carefully . Also having pest control for outside is helpful since people without pets get fleas and ticks in there homes.

Remember to protect your furry friend. Ticks and fleas carry diseases and most animals get allergic reactions to them just like humans can.

This is Hana and this her story! Meet Hana. A long haired Black and white female mix with some Turkish breed in her.
In late spring of 2019 I found her and saved her at the age of 6 weeks old. The mom had abandoned her Along with her siblings. They were outside kittens born outside and they’d never been inside before . The lady who first spotted them couldn’t care for them. Due to her allergies and them being feral. Along with not being able to catch them. I’ve ended up catching them. Sending most of them to proper inside/ outside homes. Within a week. However Hana was different way more wild and stubborn then the rest. Id finally rescued the stubborn 6 week old female . Who was extremely wild .
She’d scratched me and jumped out of my arms and ran by a outside plant . As she’d still had a great fear of the unknown like the indoors. She’d never been inside anywhere before. However she did manage to let me grab her . And Id brought her inside . Bathed her and trimmed her nails and fed her . Took her to the vet and all. First few weeks she was a little devil . She wasn’t litter box trained so I had to introduce her to the litter box and cleaned it daily . Along with the floors.

However she decided to keep p*eing in the tub and the bathroom tile floor . She then would p*e in the box just not p**p . she absolutely refused to cover up her f***s. She’d also left paw prints all over the bathroom and sink. I’d ended up deep cleaning the bathroom for hours daily for the first month.
Let’s just say I’d spent 300 dollars on special cleaners , bleach etc that month 😅

I worked with her a lot . There’d be improvements and then relapses. Id spent a lot of money on cleaners and special cleaners so she wouldn’t be interested in p**ping in the same exact spot . Id reward her with treats, extra play time and wet food and new small toys when she used the box and allowed her more freedom.

I’d ended buying a special playpen for her pretty quickly with all the bathroom issues. As well as putting food and water in it. A few toys and a litter box in it. As well as a soft place for her to curl up. She slept there every night and when I was gone for quite awhile. While I was training her. I’d also had to buy a new shower curtain.

When she was naughty . I put her in her playpen for time out for about 30 minutes so she knew what she did wrong . While I throughly cleaned and then blew on her face. As a way of communication. When I let her out I just put her in the box to reshow her where she needed to go . Id also been helping her use her paws to cover up her f***s . My other cats would show her too . It took awhile before she got it down. However she then went a whole month without a accident. So I Was very proud of her . She’d also became a lot more affectionate and snuggly . Since her mom stopped feeding her at a young age she’d liked to wool suck a lot while I held her. ( wool sucking occurs when a kitten is separated from there mom to early or by stress and anxiety. They will suck on wool, blankets , socks sweaters ) there are ways to help this. Like giving them chew toys , wool or cloth covered toys . Different food with higher fiber etc )

Id give her stuffed animal cat/dog toys and she’d then purr snugging on me. I’d give her that affection. Giving her lots of love. The other issue she’d caused while fostering her is a certain spot on the bathroom wall she’d scratched on quite badly. I’d finally got her to stop after 2 months of fostering and taming her.
The spot Just needed touched up with paint and little putty . So I Ended having to care for that.

After several months Hana had made leaps and bounds of improvements. However she was still a little devil. However I’d felt she was ready for her to go to her forever home. I’d found the perfect home for her in January 2020. A bunch of friendly kids who admired me and who id helped find there dog many times. I’d adopted the cat to them.

So that way Hana has plenty of playmates. With her mischief little devil personality she isn’t afraid of the dog. They
Let her play outside. She loves to climb trees . And get this she even digs holes and burys stuff in it. It was perfect. Plus she sleeps on the kids bed inside and gets plenty of love. I still get to see her. She’s 2 now and doing well. And still as fiesty as ever!

This is the true story of how I rescued Hana and how she found her forever home.

While kittens are a wonderful joy! Remember they’re just like human babies and need constant love , attention , rules , boundaries , nutrition, taking care of , cleaned up after , guidelines , time outs in misbehaving, never yell at your fur baby , doctors visits etc.

One example is puppies and kittens will chew on cords. To help with this. Use wand toys in kittens and cats for teething as well as cat nip toys and bones and Kong dog toys for puppy’s and dogs. Fill them with treats and peanut butter. You can also use treats for both. There is always cat treat sticks that help with cats and a treat toy for cats you can fill with the cats treat sticks and treats . I’ve one snd it helps a lot. Then they work to get it out.

Another thing is eye infections are common in kittens from the age of two weeks to 4 months. When there eyes get matted shut use warm water on a moistened cloth or cotton apply gently but firmly. Not to firm
Though as you can damage the eye tissue of your little fur baby or the one you’re helping.

The tear duct often gets clogged at a young age or pigmented tear straining is another cause. Sometimes it can be the dust in your home as the eyes are still developing are even passed down from
The mama. That’s when you need eye drops and antibiotics so the infections doesn’t pass along further to the rest of the body. Like human babies . The immune system isn’t as strong when they’re so young .

July 28th lani’s beautiful 5 day old babies and sakoiya’s newborn babies.

This is the day. My other queen I’ve been working for months to tame gave birth. 5 days after Lani. She needed help with her delivery.
So Lani and I’d both helped her. Sakoiya delivered the babies ok. However didn’t have time to clean them or keep them warm.
Lani took sakoiyas 1st baby and cleaned it. When sakoiya had her second it was getting cold. I’d warmed it up in my shirt like we did with angel years ago. ( When my family found angel in Texas in Killeen. When my brother in law Michael was on base back when I was only a pr***en. )

Then I said Lani help please. Lani understand and started feeding the second baby. Lani even ate sakoiya membranes ( the afterbirth ) that comes out with each kitten. Sakoiya last two kittens were fraternal twin girls and shared the same umbilical cord since being twins. I’d dealt with this thing many times before.
Lani took the kittens and ate the membranes but got it wrapped around her paw and got frustrated. As she couldn’t move and she had sakoiya’s last two babies Stuck to the membranes as well. As they’ve still been stuck to one another. So I calmly talked to Lani. Untangled the membranes from her paw so she was free. Then I took the stuff needed after getting it sterilized in hot boiling water so there were no germs. Then separated the twins umbilical cords. So they’d each had there own so they were no longer stuck together making it long enough. Making sure they wouldn’t get prone to infections. Then I’d given them to sakoiya and Lani to eat.

Gave Lani and sakoiya a bunch of wet food for strength. And surround warm water bottles around them as well for extra heat. I’ve also bought a nursing kit and first step formula for kittens up to 6 week to help . And more milk for nursing cats. To keep there strength up.

The sweet thing is since the babies are so close in age. Only 5 days apart. We all work together and they all stay together in a big pile.

Sakoiya had 2 girls and 2 boys . Her kittens are calico tortoiseshell Siameae mix with Turkish van

Lani had 3 girls and 2 boys. Her kittens are Maincoon tabby mix

On April 18th 2021 of this year I’ve helped scarlet a Ferrell cat I’ve tamed deliver 7 beautiful babies . 4 boys and 3 girls! They’ve all been healthy. She’d a huge litter and they were raised with love and care. Sadly socks passed away at 6 weeks as that sometimes happens. He got a funeral with love and flowers. However the other 6 made it and I’ve gave all them to good home’s other then the one I’ve kept. The runt of the litter. A little girl I’ve named patchella. The rest are rehomed and doing great! They’re all currently 14 weeks old. 3 months! I’m happy I was able to save a life of a animal and give the kittens to good home’s when they were old enough. I do this work often. Now scarlet is tamed and will be getting fixed. All the kittens I gave to home’s including the one I kept are all healthy snd doing great! Remember animals lives matter! Remember to always love animals !!!

The kittens and mama Id saved. I personally stayed up all night and hand delivered these little guys. The momma was a young first time mom I took in and tamed. She also happened to be prego. Remember to get good flea treatments like Frontline or Advantage to treat your dogs and cats with! Take precautions! Especially with the Warmer weather there is many more ticks wondering around. Such as when you camp or go on a walk. Or let your dog or cat outside. Remember ticks have many diseases including Lyme Disease, Ehrilichiosis, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and Turlaremia. Some ticks are tiny to see. So remember to go through there fur carefully. Fleas as well can cause a lot of damage to your furry friends . They cause tapeworms, bald spots from scratch fever , Bartonellosis and can cause anemia in your furry friend as well. Diseases from fleas and ticks can also be transmitted to humans!

SO PLEASE TAKE THIS INFO SERIOUSLY AND PROTECT YOUR FURRY FRIENDS AND YOU!! Ticks and fleas also have a fast multiplying rate.

So protect you and your furry friends today!

In October 2016 one day we’d a cold day. Where it’d snowed about a inch. And we’d a freeze as well. Some of the branches had broke off some of the trees. One late morning. I’d heard yowling from outside. So I’d put a sweatshirt and boots on and stepped outside. There was a 5-6 month old kitten freaken out not far from my porch. He was trapped by one of the tree branches and didn’t seem like he was able to get out. So I’d went over to help him. Since he was a feral cat and 5 months old. He’d hissed , bit me and clawed me a lot. I’d started to bleed. I’d refused to give up though. I’d known it was because he was frightened. Along with he’d no human interaction and was wild.
It’d took me about 5 minutes since he didn’t cooperate. However I’d finally freed him. I’d saw he’d a slight injury and carried him inside. I’d put him in the bathroom with a litter box. While I cleaned my many wounds. With soap and water. Peroxide and cream so they’d not got affected. And wrapped my wounds up. As they’d not stopped bleeding. Then I’d went back to treat him. Within 15 minutes he’d made a total mess of my bathroom. I knew it was because he was scared and never been inside before.
I’d then treated his wounds , bathed him and trimmed his nails . He was covered with fleas . So I used stuff to get rid of the fleas. Then gave him a flea treatment . I’d then started to train him to use the litter box. Along with work on him to trust me. He’d got both down pretty quickly.
Within a week he was cuddling me , purring , letting me hold him , playing with toys and jumping in my lap. And was completely litter box trained. As well as playing with the other cats. I’d named him Kovu
2 weeks later it got really cold again. We’d another frost and 2-3 inches of snow. I opened the door to feed the cats. As I was doing so I saw Maizie standing there who also happened to be Kovus mama. She looked like she wanted in. So I let her make up her mind.
Maizie came in that night then meowed. She’d led in her three other 5 month old kittens inside my home . I closed the door behind them. There was 2 girls and one other boy. They were really wild at first. Just like kovu was. I’d named them Charlotte, Petunia and Todd. Charlotte was like kovu. Easy to tame. She was dark orange. Petunia was light orange and took longer . However she‘d came around . Todd came around some . However stayed pretty wild .
I’d fostered them for a few months till I’d got really sick with medical problems. Then Todd and Petunia went to good homes to be indoor/ outdoor cats. When I’d got back I still fostered Charlotte and Kovu for awhile. For about 4 more months. Then I’d gave them to good home’s in Minnesota.
I’d loved my time with them. Charlotte and Kovu are still healthy today and in good hands. As far as I know so is todd. They’re 5 years old as of March of this year ❤️🐾 there story’s continue.
Sadly petunia passed away a couple years ago at her new home from a medical issue. when she was only 2. However she did have 3 babies at her new home. that are now in good homes. So her legacy continues. Rip Petunia.

They’re all loved. As of Maizie. She’s fixed and in a good home. Her story will be a different day ❤️as will her siblings Coco and Skylar.

Meet Leilani! She was born August 23, 2020. Her mom is named Stark. Her dad is currently Unknown. She is 50 percent Maincoon. She’d been born on a farm 40 minutes from my location.
I’d saw a ad about a few kittens that were 7 weeks old at the time. A bunch of females. Along with a couple males. That needed help. They’ve all been born outside. Few of there farm cats had kittens . The article said. They’d needed help. So I’d called, The lady was super nice. We’ve talked for awhile. I offered to take the two 7 week old girls. I told her what I did for a living. She trusted me . Knowing they’d be in excellent hands. I also arranged a vet appointment. So I can take them to the vet. Right after I picked them up.

The gal was really nice . She then said she’d a bunch of freshly grown tomatoes and offered to give me a bunch. She then mentioned a 3-4 week old kitten . That her & her kids called Hunnybear. She trusted me to have her. I said I’d love to adopt her .

She told me her mom ran off and abandoned her a few days ago. And never returned. When she was only 2 1/2 - 3 weeks old. So she bottle fed her for a few days. That Saturday a pal of mine took me to meet up with Jenna . To pick them up. She and I hugged . I told her I’d update her every couple weeks . I’ve kept my word. I’ve been up. She was happy they were coming with me . That they were not going to be outside kittys or farm cats.

She Even gave me some fresh homemade tomatoes. I’d a bunch of stuff to raise Leilani. Nursing bottles. Proper formula , second step formula . Kitten bottles, can food , toys , the whole set. I’ve then took her to the vet . Along with the other two I adopted. Got there first kitten shots & checkups.

They’ll adjusted fairly quickly in my home. My mom met and especially adored Them. They’ve been doing really well.

The fall past . Now we’re in the cold winter . They’re doing well. They’re happy and healthy .
This is my youngest fur baby . My baby kitten, Leilani. ❤️🐾🐱🐾 she is now 4 months. I’d her since she was 3 1/2 weeks old. She was born in someone’s farm as a feral. The mama abandoned her when she was three weeks old. I’d got her about a week after that. Nursed her, taught her to use the litter box . Kept her warm. Bathed her, and every week went through the proper steps so she can be healthy.

You can really see the maincoon in her now as well. she is 50 percent maincoon from her mamas side. Not sure who her father is . Or what the other half of her is yet. May eventually do a DNA test at the vet to see what her other breed is. Since no one knows who her father is. I’ve been making grooming time fun for her . Since maincoon’s need groomed a lot . She loves being brushed and wiped with baby and pet wipes . Since I make it into a game for her .

She has a sweet playful side. As well as a I’m all that sophisticated side. I love her to pieces . She’s all up to date on her shots too. And right now she’s still in her kitten training collar ❤️

However I’ve her new ID tag and a brand new pretty pink velvet collar that she’ll wear when she’s a little older that she’ll wear along with her rabies tag . I’ll also eventually get her microchipped and spaded.

Meet my youngest 😁😁😁🐾🐱❤️

Meet Snow Aka Aiden! He was born back in 2012! This is his story! Like many of the real life story’s I’ll be telling here. Snow was another baby that was born outside a property I’d lived on. That’d a ton of feral cats. As a nonprofit / unrecognized small rescue company. Funds were tight. So I usually use a lot of my personal money for the animals. Due To the love and devotion I’ve for animals . I’m hoping to eventually get more donations from this page down the road as it grows . As well as help from other animal lovers . To grow the number of animals I’m
Able to help a day. As well as make my work more recognized! I’ve always Helped every animal I could out. I’ve been that way since I was still in diapers .💕

Snow was born July 1st of 2012. His mother is violet. His father is Tipper. He was in a litter of 5 other siblings. There were 6 total including snow. One unfortunately didn’t make it . The other 5 did luckily💗 . He’d three sisters & one brother. They’ll were really close . My bestie Kelly and I’d named them all. The others names were Jane , snowball , Annabelle , and Midnight. Annabelle was quickly adopted by our maintenance guy Larry who loved cats🐈 as she was quickly easy to tame.

The others were pretty timid and wild. Hid a lot in the bushes. Violet and tipper started leading them to my porch to eat , dry and can food . As well as Kelly’s porch. That happened when they were 8-12 weeks old. So In the fall. They’d started to come out more. Started playing more too. They were real timid though. So they’d usually stayed in the bushes a lot during the daytime .

In December they’d started to come out a lot more . Id really got to work with all them pretty regularly at that point. It was nice seeing them grow. I’d been taking tons of pics of them monthly since they’ve been about 3 weeks. Although most were blurry. A couple weeks after Christmas in January. Id started to work with snow a lot more . He’d tamed down quite a bit. From when I’d started working with him in the beginning. Therefore he’d made major progress . He was 6 months at that time. A Few weeks later I got him to come in my house .

He stayed in my house since the middle of January for the whole winter. I’d also adopted patches earlier that year . She’d been real feral before I tamed and adopted her . ( I’ll get to patches story a different day here on my blog . All my readers will love her story ❤️) so anyways it took awhile for patches to get used to him . Since patches loved loved loved my attention. They’d became pals though. Then There was the matter of him getting used to the litter box. I’d successfully litter box trained him however. It’d took about a week. I’d then wanted to test what toys he’d liked. As well as what ones he’d didn’t care for. He loved mice , ball toys , towers , tunnels. He actually loved most toys . He didn’t like wand toys . He was quite scared of them.

After a few weeks snow loved inside life . He’d adjusted quite well. He was happy & healthy . However he still liked playing outside. As well as seeing his siblings . That I was still working with taming more at that point. I would let snow play outside. He would always come back though the same Day. After 1-6 hours of playing with his siblings. We’d kept this successful routine going for several months. It’d been going very well. Id continued working more with snows other siblings. Id also started taming and helping new cats as well in the process. Four months passed and things with snow were going great. He stayed inside . He’d only went outside a couple hours a day to play. Kelly and I were both pleased with his progress.

Then one day in the middle of April . Snow went to play outside. He didn’t come back inside that day. He wasn’t on the site either. That was even more concerning. Since all his siblings were on site . Snow was not. I was very worried. Kelly was too. We both looked for him. He hasn’t returned for 24 hours. He was a cat we’ve been helping & helping recover. so we were worried about him. It’d also been strange behavior for him.
Then
The next day I saw snow in this one persons window that’d just moved in. Even though he didn’t belong to them. Kelly and I weren’t happy about it . It was a new person that just moved in .

I went over to there house that afternoon , and knocked . I kindly Introduced myself. Then welcomed them to the neighborhood. The gal invited me in. The gals name was Rebecca. Rebecca told me she’d just got out of a Group home and moved into her first apartment Id congratulated her on her accomplishment.
I’d then mentioned that my BFF and I have been looking for snow. That he was a cat we’ve taking under our wing and helping. How he used to be a feral . I’d Just generally explained the situation. As well as how Kelly and I help animals. Rebecca then said she knocked on everyone’s doors seeing who’s cat it was. Saying that she didn’t know we’d lived on the complex.
I knew she was lying . Since she didn’t knock on mine. I stepped outside and called Kelly. She said that Rebecca was lying as well. So Kelly and i both knew she didn’t. I was disturbed by her lying . However snow was sleeping and it was raining . I just chose to ignore her lie. And tried to get to know her more .

She seemed to really want a animal. To help her with her anger and depression. Since snow looked comfortable Id agreed to get to know her and give her a trial period. At first I just gave her a week to prove she’d be caring & loving towards snow. As well as keep him healthy. However I went over there daily. To evaluate them. As well as take pics & videos of snow. Not to mention spend time with snow. However Rebecca liked to talk a lot. I like to talk a lot too if I feel like it . I’m also a very good listener. So I’d ended up listening a lot to her stories. By the end of the week. I’d felt That I absolutely just needed more time to decide. As I was uncertain. So I’d extended it to a month where snow stays with her .

So that was that , and Id extended snows trial stay with her.
I let snow stay over with her for the next month. Rebecca quickly proved to be a good groomer. I’d continued evaluating them daily. Just seeing how compatible they were. If I should adopt snow to Rebecca or not. Snow was always being silly . As I was doing my evaluations. Snow always made me laugh with his silliness. I’d to tell Rebecca about his likes and dislikes. As well as made sure she’d understood.
I did end up getting to know Rebecca more . Her and I actually became really good friends . We’d several sleepovers together. She ended up being able to prove her and snow are compatible. I also thought snow would help her with her anger / depression. Not to mention she was able to show, That she’d be able to properly care for him. . I gave her full permission to keep snow after the month was up. I didn’t agree with all the things she did / does . However I can tell he comforts her . He makes a really good emotional support animal for her. she does regularly take him to the vet . get him his regular check ups shots and all. She also did get him fixed. Something I was going to do before he disappeared early April 2013.

she is very good at grooming animals. I’ll give her that. We’ve been good friends for a year. Then our values and lifestyles and all just changed. I matured a lot . And didn’t agree with a lot of things she did. We didn’t like a lot of the same interests anymore. I wanted to focus on my love for animals , bettering myself , my fashion , more positive things , positive friendships, my future . Etc . She’d other things in mind. A lot of things that just arnt my cup of tea. We both just grew up and went separate ways. However I know one thing that didn’t change is her love for snow.

Even though we don’t talk. We’ve not for years. There are some ppl that talk to her that randomly send me pics of snow . She calls him Aiden. she’d named him that a Long time ago. Anyways snow / Aiden is now 8 1/2 years old and still really healthy. The pic of the red head snuggling a cat is of Rebecca snuggling snow / Aiden . He’ll always be snow to me though. He always has been. That pic was taken just a couple months ago of them. It was sent to me . By a aquaintaince of hers.

Animals are so amazing. Sometimes friendships drift apart cuz people change. that’s ok. The true friends stay with you forever and never leave your side even when changes happens ❤️❤️❤️ 🐾🐾🐾
something you can always count on though . Is that you’ll always love your animals forever . They’re family and your best friends. And your animals will always love you . ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾They’ll love you unconditionally. ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾Rather you dance with them in your pjs, dress them up, spill your pop on the floor , do a fashion show in your room , get in a fight with your boyfriend , cry your eyes all day in bed, run around the house hyper, have to work late , or just want to stay in bed all day. They love you unconditionally
