As promised… a long awaited update!
Lil practically had a winter off/extremely light work and although I was missing riding and having the occasional menty-b that I was never going to get back to it…. I have to say LIL FEELS BETTER THAN EVER!!!
We took the pressure off, chilled out and it feels like a factory reset 😂 Lil is feeling amazing, her skin is better than it has been for years and I’m in a much better mental state for it (and many other reasons!!).
So, yeah… bring on the rest of the year and hopefully joining back in the eventing season 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Beautiful Batman 😍 For those of you that have been watching my stories you will have seen snippets of Batman and our journey together so far 😍 Batman is an ex racehorse owned by my wonderful friend Debbie Hughes and my god he’s had a journey so far! His most recent hurdle being kissing spine surgery after Deb realised he was uncomfortable when ridden. Fast forward a looong time and lots of rehab he needed riding but he was feeling rather good with himself so here I come the lunatic to help get on board and hopefully help him to a new way of thinking 🙌🏻 This reel literally covers almost 2 weeks from our first ride and him throwing me off to todays ride this afternoon trotting around the arena with ZERO tantrums! The finale to our #NoStirrupNovember was an our online dressage test with Showdown International 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 would totally recommend to anyone wanting to have a go to try one of these guys tests! They have a huge selection of classes and tests and it took me less than 5 minutes to enter, so easy! I also had one of the nicest sheets back from any test I’ve ridden- so much feedback and even exercises I can do to help build my scores for our next test 🥰
