Today, we met up with Rufus and his mom for some practice of remaining in calm brain when other dogs are around.

Rufus was doing so well, I brought out Miss Ruby to show Rufus the picture of walking with a dog friend.

Rufus was even able to approach the fence and say 👋🏽 to playful pups!

I am so proud of Team Rufus! They are rockin’ it! 🥇

Cali enjoyed a beautiful Fall trail walk today. It was also the perfect opportunity to practice sit/stays and snap some cute pics. ♥️

We walked to a retail center to sit and watch the world go by. Cali gets stressed due to her lack of exoerience out in the world. People stopped to talk to her, tell her she’s cute and she stayed calm and happy.

A dog show is a chaotic environment.

➡️ Stressed humans.
➡️ Stressed dogs.
➡️ Stressed schedules.

It all adds up to chaos that most dogs cannot handle.

So, Guinness joined Dexter and me at a busy dog show this morning. This is a tough environment but Guinness handled it with grace.

Guinness got excited watching the game of DASH (that’s fair!). The dog chases a fast moving lure down a straight course for time. Guinness told me it looked like so much fun that he wanted to participate. 😂

Cali and Guinness are both here to work on dog social skills. This is a lovely interaction between the two. Guinness chooses to lay down to play with a smaller dog. Amazing choice! Cali stayed positive the entire interaction. She has a tendency to change her mind.

Bobby loves his dog friends but doesn’t trust humans. It’s moments like this that make me happy that’s he’s experiencing happiness. Bobby Lily 💙🩷

Tucker, the border collie, is new around here. His social skills were questionable so he is here so that I can learn more about him. Tucker: hold my drink, guys. I’m here to party 🥳 He has bounced around play group from friend to friend and had a lovely interaction each time. Here he has chosen to play with senior citizen, Odie. 😍

Bobby has been in an exceptionally good mood today. He has been playing one on one with each and every dog here. He’s always a social guy but he has shown me his favorite friends. Flynn and Bobby typically don’t play but today here they are. 💃🏼 I hope this is indicative of Bobby relaxing more. I’m still not able to interact with him. 🙌🏽 Paws crossed. 🐾

Welcome Leah! Three month old Leah arrived this morning. What better way to kick off her welcome party?! 💜

📢📢BREAKING NEWS This morning at 6:30am, Miss Egg-Marie filed a formal complaint with management at her vacation resort. Egg saw her friends enjoy breakfast before she was served. The complaint goes on to say this type of sub-standard living will not be tolerated. She has announced this atrocious treatment to all her friends . 😂❤️🐶
