What am I doing with my free afternoons? Freestyle Disc training with Bandi!!
I am looking at running another Freestyle Routine Building session in January.
Looking at Saturday 11th or 18th @ 9am. Runs for minimum 1 hour but plan for 2 hours.
Please comment your interest of preferred date to help with planning. This is a THEORY session so no dogs as we will be going through the rules and what you need to build a sucessful routine, where to start etc.
I would like to follow this up with a team session in February with the dogs to help with any sticky areas.
This is the time to jump on board and start the journey. I will be happy to host a mock event if a virtual one is not available this year. Lets get playing!
Summer Fun Training - Test 3
This one will require a little more effort but is a great challenge to test not only your communication but your dog's physical co-ordination and balance.
I am using a pail lid as my target in this video. This is something I like to do with Bandi towards teaching her balance and understanding what all her feet are doing.
I would love to see some videos of teams really giving this a go. I am throwing a challenge out and you will be rewarded.
This winner will receive a prize as all Summer Fun tests do. Be brave and enter your video.

Summer Fun Training - Test 2
This is a nice simple fun one to do.

Let me see videos posted in the comments for a prize. There will be a second challenge as well for those who are really keen.

Summer Fun Training - Test 1
Ok everyone lets have some fun. The weather may be woeful but we can still be stimulating the brains of our mates.
Video and submit the below routine with you pups and one lucky team will get a little prize for their effort.
Don't be slack now. You have till Christmas Eve to put your entries in. Have some fun. It dosen't have to be perfect.
While Ollie may be taking his time he is still completing his 12 weave poles correctly.
He was a good boy. It is great to be able to practice in different places so our dogs can feel comfortable.
Good boy Ollie 🐕
For our last session with Bingo for the year we decided to have some fun and work her tricks and body.
She loved this so much her little tail was wagging so hard and she had a big staffy smile on her face.
Training isn't all serious play. But all dogs should enjoy training and Bingo thought being paid with steak today was just the ants pants.
Good girl Bingo 🐶
Only 3 weeks left of training!!!!
Where has the year gone? Dino in getting in and having fun making the most of his sessions.
Remember to keep your dogs cool and hydrated. If there is something in particular you are struggling with let me know before your session so we can get you on track before the break.
I will have Christmas Party invite out to active students by mid next week.
The little dynamo named Spud. He is a spunky young fellow who is super keen to play.
He is a quick thinker and puts in his all to his sessions. Such a happy chap.
Well done Spud!
This little fluffy man is Dougie and he is learning about shaping and using his brain to earn his chicken reward which is his favourite.
We are teaching him to problem solve to help with his agility journey. Dougie is a quirkly little man and is getting more focussed on every session and is excited when he arrives to train.
He has been a very good boy getting better with his stays and recalls.
GO Dougie!
Bandi and I stepped into the Agility ring yeaterday for the first time in montbs after I decided we needed to take some.time off to work on a few things I wasn't happy with. I knew we could do better.
The result of that was us working as a connected team and I was pleased with a lack of frustration for her and running confidently.
Sometimes we just need a little break to refocus and to go back and bolster our foundations and to male sure we are having fun.
She gained a Clear Round (Qual) and 1st place for this Midi Elementary Agility run 🥰
The 7pm Handling & Skills class was a lot of fun this week. The pups were super keen. Must have been the full moon. We hope our teams who were unwell will be back for week 4
Sometimes you just gotta have some fun.
Luna loved the soft snowman at last group training. He crinkles like plastic and has a fun honky squeaker.
