PEACH: Hey there, I’m Peach! I’m a 2-year-old calico cutie full of energy, love, and affection. I’m super friendly, get along with everyone—dogs, cats, kids—you name it! My sister Figmond and I are looking for a foster home while our person finds a permanent place to live. We’ve been living with a friend temporarily, but we need somewhere to go by Sunday and just for a little while—until May 16th. I’m spayed, microchipped, and litter-box trained, and I love having a comfy spot to nap and someone to give me lots of love and attention. If you’ve got room in your heart and home, I’d be so grateful for the chance to stay with you!

STORM: Hi! My name is Storm (4.5 y.o. female not-yet-spayed), and I’m a Boxer with a beautiful white coat and black spots around my face and ears. I weigh about 35 pounds, am fully house and crate trained, and love being indoors—though I do enjoy a nice walk here and there! I’m gentle, affectionate, great with kids and other dogs, and I thrive on routine. I never beg for table food, and I’m used to being home alone during long shifts, so I’m very well-behaved.

FIGMOND NEWTON: I'm Figmond Newton, and I’m a sweet and curious 5-year-old tortie girl with a serious love for treats and attention. I’ve always been an indoor kitty and get along great with kids, other cats, and even dogs! Right now, my owner is in between housing and staying in a motel, so I’m crashing with a friend—but only until Sunday. I need a temporary foster home until mid-May while my human gets back on their feet. I’m healthy, microchipped, spayed, litter-box trained, and just need a safe, cozy space where I can feel loved and doted on (and maybe sneak a few extra snacks). Can I stay with you for a while?

JASMINE (S): Jasmine is a sweet and loving 12-year-old West Highland White Terrier (Westie) Mix who adores children and thrives on affection, especially belly and back rubs. She loves daily leash walks and enjoys lounging on the back of a couch or chair for naps. While she gets along with cats, she would prefer a home without other dogs. She is house-trained to use p*e pads at home but may need an adjustment to a new place. Jasmine is a gentle, affectionate companion who just needs a caring home while her owner recovers. Is that you?

PUMPKIN (M): Hey future foster, I'm Pumpkin (9 months, female, 32lbs) and I am a sweet, playful pup that needs a place to stay until my owner can get settled in our new place soon. I love to play and cuddle and am full of love! Could I please stay with you for a while?

CLYDE (L): Hi future foster, I'm Clyde (2 years old, neutered male, 100lbs) and I love to snuggle! I will quickly claim my favorite blanket and be happy with petting and toys. I am housetrained and up to date on vaccines. I take a daily glucosamine supplement for my joints since I'm such a big boy.

Happy Meet a Foster Monday! Lily Mae has been hanging out with our foster Sammy while she waits to reunite with her owner.

Sammy says, “I chose to foster with Pawster because it gave me the opportunity to experience caring for cats for the first time while also supporting a great cause. Since Pawster provides crisis foster care, I knew I was helping animals and people in need, which made the experience even more meaningful. So far, I have fostered two cats, and each experience has been incredibly rewarding. Pawster provided all the necessary items, equipment, and food. Their guidance and support helped me know how to handle a cat and what they require, and I was able to thoroughly appreciate the experience. In doing so, not only did I get to spend time with a cat and learn about them firsthand, but also helped provide a temporary home for an animal during a difficult period.” Thank you, Sammy!

OLLIE: Ollie is a loving and affectionate salt-and-pepper-colored cat who needs a safe and caring foster home until mid-May. At almost 3 years old, he’s a gentle soul who loves giving kisses and being around people. He’s been through a lot of changes recently, which has caused some stress, but he’ll settle back into his happy, loving self in no time! Currently recovering from a UTI (which he has medication for), Ollie would thrive in a calm home without dogs but would do well with other cats and kids. Ollie’s owner is facing a temporary housing situation and just needs a short-term foster until they can reunite in May. If you can open your home to this sweet boy, even for just a few weeks, it would mean the world to both Ollie and his owner.

JASPER: Meet Jasper, a playful and affectionate 2-year-old C**nhound who loves outdoor adventures! Whether he's chasing a ball or going on a walk, Jasper is happiest when he's exploring the world with his favorite people. While he’s full of energy, he prefers a quieter home—loud music makes him uneasy. Jasper also has some hearing loss in his right ear, but that doesn’t stop him from being a loving and loyal companion. He’s crate-trained, house-trained, and ready to bring joy to a temporary foster home. Could you be the perfect match for this sweet boy?

MELLOW: Introducing Mellow, a Maine C**n with a big heart! This little guy has a curious and playful nature. He loves to watch birds and dream of chasing them. Are you Ozzy's new foster?

Ozzy is an affectionate senior kitty (11 y.o. neutered male, great with dogs and gentle kids) who is looking for a special foster home until the end of May. Although he was just diagnosed with metastatic cancer, he is feeling really good right now on steroids and has lots of love to give. We are hopeful that he will continue to feel well and be able to reunite with his family at the end of May.

We are looking for a foster who loves cats, is willing to learn how to give simple oral medications, and is comfortable with the idea of hospice fostering. We will provide all supplies, training, and medical care - you provide the love and companionship he needs right now to be happy and safe!

Happy Meet a Foster Monday! Our littlest foster, Baby, has been staying with our Foster Alicia while she patiently waits to be reunited with her owner.

When asked why she fosters with Pawster, Alicia said, “I’ve been a pet chauffeur with Pawster for a couple of years, helping transport pets to the vet and delivering supplies to foster homes. It was a wonderful way to support this amazing organization and make things a bit easier for the fosters.

After my beloved dog of 15 years passed away, I was struggling with grief and loneliness. I knew I had love to give but wasn’t ready for a long-term commitment. That’s when I reached out to Pawster and was matched with Baby, a 5 lb, 3-year-old Pomeranian.

Baby has brought so much joy and playful energy into my home. We’ve been able to get her spayed, which greatly improved her health, and Pawster has provided incredible support for all her needs, including behavioral training. Baby has blossomed and learned new tricks she’s excited to show off to her family when they reunite.

I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity Pawster has given me and the joy Baby has brought into my life over the past few months. Fostering with Pawster has been a healing and rewarding experience. 💖”
