Rain or shine, feathers fly! 🪶

Another successful day in the "office" partnering with Oliver on a pheasant tower shoot. Two hours in a pouring down rain, but teamwork and passion always prevail.

Ollie the master of relaxation! 💞

Look at this good boy calmly chilling on his cot, completely nailing his "Place" command! 🤩

Mastering "Place" isn't just about obedience, it's about providing Ollie with his own calming space. It's his little zen den where he can unwind after adventures, chew on a tasty treat, or simply observe the world go by. 🙂

Of course, it hasn't always been easy. There were those initial bursts of puppy energy, the curious nose nudging forbidden corners, and the persistent attempts to join every family activity (even bathroom breaks!). But with consistent training and patience, Ollie's learned that "Place" means good things! 🤗

We're so happy to see Ollie thriving and finding his inner zen master. He's a constant reminder that with dedication and proper training, even the most energetic pups can learn valuable skills and find their own sense of calm. 🧘‍♂️

Meet Ollie!💞

Ollie, the Springer Spaniel, has joined our Obedience Board & and Train Program! This young pup is full of energy and eager to learn (which we absolutely love!🤩) but he's got the typical springer spaniel habit of wanting to explore every dropped crumb (and tissue, and candy wrap, and pretty much everything 🤣) on the ground!

We'll be working with him on:

✨Polishing his recall:✨ We'll make sure Ollie comes when called, no matter the distractions!

✨Proper leash manners:✨Ollie will learn to walk calmly and politely on a leash, focusing on his handler rather than the sidewalk snacks.

✨Overall manners:✨ We'll help Ollie become a well-behaved young gentleman, mastering basic commands and understanding house rules.

✨Selective scavenging:✨We'll help Ollie learn to resist the urge to eat everything he finds on the ground, ensuring his safety and good health.

We're already loving his infectious enthusiasm and that adorable mohawk! We can't wait to see how much he learns and grows in our program. Stay tuned for updates on Ollie's training journey! 🤎🖤

Congratulations to Oliver on earning his fourth pass in Senior stake at the AKC Hunt test in Advance, NC! 🏆
This is a significant accomplishment, and it is a testament to Oliver's hard work and dedication. He is a truly talented retriever, and we are so proud of him!💞

Welcome Max, the Golden Retriever! 💞

Max has recently joined our Basic Obedience Board & Train Program, where we will be working with him to improve his obedience and overall manners
Max is a curious and energetic young pup who is eager to learn. Our program will help him develop the skills he needs to be a well-behaved and obedient companion.👌

Our program uses positive reinforcement to teach dogs new skills and build a strong foundation of obedience. We're confident that Max will make great progress in our program, and we're excited to help him reach his full potential.

We're back from our working trip to Europe and we're more excited than ever to serve you! We had an amazing time learning from the best dog trainers in the field.

We're especially excited to share some of the new training techniques we learned, which are designed to help dogs of all ages and breeds learn more effectively and efficiently. We're also eager to help you develop a personalized training plan that meets your specific needs and goals.

We will be taking a brief break from our regular dog training schedule to pursue some education and competition in Europe! 🤗 We will be attending some gundog training workshops, competing in a few Working Tests fo Retrieves, and generally immersing ourselves in the world of gundogs! 🤩

We will be learning from some of the best in the business, and we will be putting our skills to the test in competition.😎

When we return, we will be even better equipped to help our clients achieve their dog training goals.👌

In the meantime, we will be keeping you updated on our adventures through our social media 🤎🖤

We're excited to introduce you to our newest student in training, Ollie the Springer Spaniel!💞

He's a 4-month-old bundle of energy and enthusiasm. He's eager to learn, and we can already tell he is going to be a great companion.😎

We're thrilled to be working with Ollie and his owners to build a strong foundation for his future training.💪 We're starting by creating a regular routine and establishing a positive relationship between Ollie and his owners.🤗

This little fella joined us for some foundations that we can develop some great skills on.🍀 Together with his owners, we will be working on recall, puppy manners, playful retrieves, as well as mentally stimulating exercises until he is ready to move on to advanced training.😎

Our student Silvie the Machine is starting to work on straight lines!🤩 This is an important skill for gundogs to learn, as it helps them to retrieve birds and other game quickly and efficiently. 🤩 We start by training straight lines on short distances, and gradually increase the distance as Silvie becomes more proficient.👌 We are very proud of Silvie's progress so far! 💞 She is a quick learner and she loves to work. We're practicing heelwork at Lowe's Home Improvement with our student, Max!😎 We're always excited to see our students succeed, and Max is no exception. He's a Golden Retriever with a natural aptitude for working dogs, and he's always eager to learn.🤩 Heelwork is an important skill for all dogs to learn, as it allows them to stay close to their handlers and remain under control in public places. It's also a great way to build a bond with the handler and strengthen your communication skills.👌 As you can see in the video, Max is doing a fantastic job of heeling. He's staying close to our side, maintaining a steady pace, and ignoring all the distractions around him.
