June was a whirlwind but we had fun with the pups channeling their internal Vincent Van Gogh. This was certainly one of my favorite themes so far and am sad the month is over 🎨👩🏻‍🎨🖼️

I am on vacation all week and will not have any cell phone or internet service so anything sent will wait until I’m back.

May we celebrated Cinco de Mayo and I think the majority of the kids understood the assignment… maybe partied a little too hard but hey, we only live once!

With everything going on, I just about forgot to post the April Bunnies! To catch the hun bun you must be the bun bun!

Good news is my father is home. Bad news is they don’t know why he had to many blood clots in his lungs. He was closer to the death side of life more than the life side but he is driving us nuts currently not wanting to take it easy while he adjusts to taking meds as well as some changes to prevent catastrophic injury. He is improving each day and we don’t know yet the full damages but we will get there when we get there. Thank you everybody for your kindness. It really helped knowing I wasn’t alone and helping take some stressors off my plate as able.

When it rains, it pours. I am forever grateful for everybody’s understanding and still need it. Currently my father is at the ER having a heart attack from yesterday into today, they also found a lot of blood clots in his lungs, and one massive blood clot in his bronchial artery. He is stubborn and refused to go yesterday after getting light headed, passing out, and hitting his head in the fall at work but was convinced today to go. He is very lucky to still be alive however is not even close to out of the woods yet. My schedule may need to change at a moments notice to be at the hospital for him. Thank you.

If you want to ask if I am okay, please don’t ask. Just know that no, I am not okay. If you ask I will break. Tomorrow I am saying see you later to my oldest. My first puppy as an adult. My first service dog. My first for so many memories over nearly 16 years. I needed it to be on a good day, not another crash day, and I know she is only hanging around for me. Ziva is not happy. I need to ease back into things after as if I don’t I won’t recover. I will never be ready but I know it’s the right choice. She has been my heart and soul for so many years, always a heart beat at my feet, and my adventure dog. Thank you everybody for all your patience and understanding leading up to this point.
