Furry Friends has experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs with various temperaments and walking equipment: flat collars, martingale collars, harnesses/ no pull harness and halti head harness
We also offer off leash play only when given permission from the owner and adequate rapport had been build previously between the dog and walker.

Furry Friends walks stimulate your dog both physically and mentally by constantly trying to engage your dogs brain by changing directions during the walk, walking over new textures, incorporating play and allowing your dog to sniff as long as they want. No two walks will be the same for your dog! This increased mental stimulation will likely decrease problem behaviours such as digging or chewing furniture 🪑

We can provide walking equipment and use positive reinforcement throughout the walks to help shape the dogs behaviour 🐾

Furry Friends is fully insured, police checked and pet first aid certified 🐾💕

We offer 30 min, 60 min & 45 min walks but we also offer custom walks of 2 hours☺️

𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚 🦁

One of my favourite things to do is to create a bond and build a level of trust with an animal. Some animals can be anxious especially around new people, but I find it is one of the most rewarding things to overcome. Simba was booked in for 8 walks over 8 consecutive days. Simba was a bit hesitant on our initial walk. He was wary of strangers and kept wanting to turn home. On the next few walks I made sure not to force him, let him choose his own journey as well as giving him lots of treats to make my interactions with him very positive. Watching simba start to love coming out after the third day was amazing and towards the end he would rush me out the front door and didn’t even want to go home!
If you have an anxious dog there are many ways we can work through it and develop an amazing bond ❤️
