Funny story behind this photo 🤣
~Our first experience on the trail with the dogs geared-up~
Whilst hiking in the French als with our 2 dogs, Jamie and Olix, we where constantly asked what the dogs were carrying. Almost everyone we met on the trails was curious about the doggos and there awesome backpacks. So we told them: 'Just their own stuff, food, a blanket, stuff like that.’
The people who asked found us smart that we let our dogs carry their own weight. Nobody had a problem with it, also because our doggos liked it so much, they were happy to also get a job. I mean we have working dogs so they can handle a little weight on their backs, no problem. And of course we trained with them so they could get used to the weight and such.
When we arrived at the peak of the mountain we got stared at a lot, people started to ask if they could take pictures of the dogs and even with the dogs. We set them up together to take a picture of them with a view of the Mont Blanc and suddenly we where crowded with people also taking pictures of the dogs. Me and my vriend looked at each other and we both thought: ‘What is this madness hahaha.’
I don't know what those people did with the photo’s but next time I’ll make a small banner to go in the photo for promotion purposes, hahaha.
