I have been fostering a little girl, Lexi, who was paralyzed by a car. It's very important that she plays like a big dog! I am also teaching her how to bark at everyone that walks by! I am getting her all set for her forever with Passion 4 Paws Vermont !

Another York Co, SC baby saved!

The face of hope 💜 Mama June was rescued from a dog fighting ring. She was forced to live in an outdoor kennel right next to the fighting ring. No wonder she’s so shy— we don’t even *want* to think about the horrific and traumatic things she had to witness and experience. She was forced to bend, but she is not broken. 💜

I FINALLY got a new girlfriend! Meet Abbi! She was surrendered to York County Animal Shelter over 120 days ago and now she's at my house! And she loves me too!

My people!

What an amazing group of volunteers we have! Today we had a record 8 walkers! All the dogs had extra time outside walking and playing. Thank you, thank you to all our volunteers that take time out of their busy lives during the week as well as on the weekends to spend time and love our deserving animals! A special thanks to Bonnie Hudgins for her time and dedication to our shelter. You will be dearly missed, but we are so excited for you! We wish you safe travels! Look what my dad made for sweet Pebbles! She has megaesophagus and has to stand up to eat so she doesn't choke. I'm so proud of my dad and I hope this helps Pebbles find a rescue and a forever home.

Why won't anyone play with me this morning?

Doesn't know this toy exists for last 5 months. Today, in about 2 minutes, destroys it!

Poor Joey "yoga pants' desperately needs some socialization!😂

Levi has a new friend, Joey! He's a 9 month old guy whose"owner" never adjusted his collar as he grew, so he came in with that tiny collar embedded deep in his neck. It's been cleaned up and mostly closed. Joey is going to spend some more time healing with us before he heads to Wings of Freedom to find his forever family

Before Levi, there was Scooter. Another dog used as live bait to train other dogs to attack. Scooter's injuries were much worse than Levi's. Hundreds of strangers rallied to support our sweet boy by donating on Cuddly.com. I was absolutely humbled by the support he received.
