Good Morning All! It pains me to announce that I will no longer be attending the Cumberland Farmers' Market. I found out last week that Day Table Fees increased by 40% and I simply refuse to absorb that cost and place it on you my Customers. I cannot express how thankful I am for all of the support you have shown me. I will greatly miss all of you and the great conversations we have. You are the ones that make this Market so special. THE TOMATOES ARE COMING! THE TOMATOES ARE COMING!!! I am so happy to share the first photos from my Tomato Garden. We have around 60 Heirloom Beefsteak Tomato Plants this year. The close-up photo is of our Cherokee Purple variety. We are also growing Aunt Ruby's, Pineapple, and Black Krim. We are proud to continue to diversify the items we supply here from our Urban Farm. If you are craving my tasty Microgreens and are looking for a great meal, you should check out Brickyard Hollow. They carry my Yellow Pea Shoots and Green Pea Tendrils for their Protein Bowls. They have locations in Yarmouth and Freeport. They have a nice selection of flavors and some great Vegan and Gluten Free options as well. They are generous with my Microgreens and it is a nutritious way to support a locally business. The Protein Bowls travel well and are a great choice for those looking for to-go or delivery options.

I am constantly amazed by the beautiful, creative, and tasty ways my Customers utilize my Microgreens. Flux Restaurant in Lisbon Falls shared this image with me. It is Beef Tartare with Duck Yolk and Leek Microgreens. Flux has been a loyal Customer and always challenge me to be better. If you are looking for an amazing meal, check them out. Sunflower Microgreens are an AMAZING addition to your diet. Sunflower Microgreens are a great source of calcium and iron. One serving (1/4 Cup) has about 2% of your daily calcium needs and 8% of your daily iron needs. They're also high in fiber and contain a wide range of other vitamins and minerals including Vitamin A, B Vitamins, C, D, and E. They are also loaded with Magnesium, Potassium, Niacin, and Phosphorus.
