Next week it looks like summer may finally be here!☀️
With that being said, a quick reminder of our hot weather policy📣‼️
- 23 degrees and above walks are cancelled and replaced with pop ins or early morning walks where needed
- 20/21/22 Degrees walks will be shortened and take place in shaded areas
- If you know or think your dog may struggle in the warm before it hits 23 degrees please do let us know, every dog is different!🐶

We only ever cancel/shorten walks for the benefit of the dogs health and safety.
Your dogs well-being is always our top priority! Hence why our hot weather policy is so strict, we will not take chances with your dogs health💚

Socialisation Walks now available!🐶💚
Most of the time when people hear the word socialisation, they assume that means going to the park and playing with other dogs… Proper socialisation is much more than that.
Socialisation is a broad term so these are the things we would be working towards within our socialisation walks:
- Neutrality in public settings: You don’t want your dog approaching every other dog or human to play, neutrality should be the goal!
- Desensitising to loud every day noises such as buses, slamming doors ect
- Settle down in public spaces like the park or the pubs
- Being friendly with other doggies!

When you book a 4 week course you will receive a training plan for you to continue to practice with your dog!🐾💚

Days like today I am SO grateful I have Daisy on board at Ready steady walkies!🫶🏼 The road closure in Forest row meant it would be extremely difficult for me to get to 3 of the doggies booked in with me today. Luckily Daisy was on the other side of the closure and so she was able to cover for me and I hear the dogs instantly fell in love with her and didn’t miss me at all🙄😂

Now being a two woman team means we have the chance to cover for one another giving you more peace of mind when you book with us!💚🐾

Introducing Ready, Steady, Walkies’ newest team member, Daisy! (A human for once😂)
“Hi everyone! I'm Daisy and I am so excited to be joining the Ready Steady Walkies team 🎉 I am fully insured, DBS checked and passionate about dogs! My goal when working with dogs is to make the owners life easier by making sure their pup has a brilliant time - this means lots of engaging play, exercise and, of course, loving companionship.

I have two dogs myself, Lucy, a 12 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Link, a 1 year old Cavapoo (mostly poo, very little cava!🤣)
Lucy has taught me compassion for dogs, and Link has taught me that wearing a dogs brain out is just as important as exercising their body!

I can't wait to get going and meet all your wonderful animals ☺️”

I've been searching for the right person to join me for a long time and as soon as I met Daisy I knew she was the perfect fit for my team💚

I’ve had to say goodbye to the Ready, Steady, Walkies Van and hello to a new car!🚙 As much as I loved my van it was becoming less reliable which is no good when your carting around 5 dogs at a time!🐶

The new car is fit with a boot divider and will soon be fitted with a back seat divider too, all doggies are seat belted in for extra safety✅
