Just a reminder: It is a felony to leave domestic pets outside in freezing temps without adequate insulation (and no, a standard dog house isn't enough). Straw and dry bedding are critical if you have outdoor pets. Your garage is better than outside. If you suspect a neighbor has pets outdoors without adequate shelter, ask if you can help. Please contact 311 or Animal Control during business hours. Please contact non-emergency numbers for your city or county to report these situations.
