Today we visited our good friends at Rural Fire Service Caboolture Area Office. They are some of the hardest working people we know, and with their air con broken down during a heat wave, we thought they needed some K9 relief!
We are devastated to hear about the tragic passing of the NSW RFS volunteer whilst on duty.
We should never forget the very real danger our firefighters put themselves in, every time they go to a job.
Our sincere and heartfelt thoughts and condolences to the volunteers family, friends, and fellow crew members.
We went to visit our friends at Air Operations Toowoomba base today. The best part was the BBQ, the very close second best part was getting to hang out in the helicopter!
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the crew of Birddog 370.
We are also thinking of our QFES family, especially our good friends in Air Ops.
If you need an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on, we (and mum) are always here 🐾💔🐾
We were going to do a Halloween post but it’s 386456 degrees Celsius and mum can’t get us out of the pool 🥵
So instead we want to give a shout out to our firefighters, staff and volunteers, who are REALLY feeling the heat today. The ones out on the fireground, in the incident control centres, the ROCs and the SOC.
And a shoutout to the families of those deployed; we thank you for your willingness to step up and take care of daily life single-handedly while your loved ones do what they are trained to do 🐾🚒🐾
We ALWAYS sleep with mum and dad. But they removed our stairs yesterday and replaced them with a ladder.
If we can’t sleep on the parents bed, we will sleep on no bed!!
Today mum and dad attended the operational debrief for the Russell Island house fires. I came along to provide my unique brand of support to the awesome crews who attended the fires.
I didn’t really love the ferry ride but I was a pretty good boy 🐾🐾
To our NSW RFS brothers and sisters, we are so sorry to hear of the death of the RFS firefighter on the fireground. Our condolences to his fellow fire fighters, especially those that rendered assistance.
Our thoughts are with you all.

Today Steve made heaps of new friends, and supported Firefighters with Cancer - a great morning

So, the apprentice threw our ring toy and it landed on top of a palm tree. He had to use a stepladder and a broom to get it down.
Mum thought it was hilarious; we thought it was hilarious; the boss man, not so much.
We love our tradies. If we sit outside their van long enough they always throw the ball….
Mum says we shouldn’t annoy them. We say we provide welcome distraction.
Mum has been busy reno-ing. Or destroying. Whatever. She won’t get the last of this vinyl flooring ripped up until I’m good and ready.
Also. Where did she hide the kitchen cupboard that has my treats??😧
On September 23rd Steve is taking on the stair climb. He’s been practicing on the only stairs he could find… whaddya think ??
Every person we meet, every pat we get, every conversation mum has with someone while we are getting cuddles; every single one is special.

It’s Intetnational Dog Day apparently. To celebrate, we got to go for a drive. To Bunnings. Because, renovations.

OH MY DOG!!! Mum is cheating on us! She finally got to meet at AFAC after years of us being Insta-friends🐾🐾🚒🐾
We haven’t posted for a while as mum has been busy planning a big renovation for our house and doesn’t have time to take photos of us 😧. We don’t know what a Renovation is but there have been a LOT of men in utes visiting with tape measures.
Anyhoo, mum took a break to take Shaunie to the for a photo opportunity.

3 years ago today mum said goodbye to her very special boy. She will always have a Bob shaped hole in her heart, luckily the Shaun and Steve shapes almost fill it up ❤️🐾❤️🐾
Shaunie had X-rays today to find out why his leg is sore. The lovely staff at looked after him, but unfortunately things aren’t looking great.
He’s off to the orthopaedic surgeon to find out what we can do.
Mum reckons her next dog is going to look at her the way Steve looks at his toy.
Our thoughts are with our WA Police brothers and sisters today. Condolences to Constable Woods’ family, friends and colleagues.
Today is “Thank a first responder day”. We are on the lookout for first responders so we can thank them, and ask them to throw our toy for us…
Dad is off to Canada 🍁
He is leading the Qld Fire and Emergency services Strike Team to help out with the Bushfires (Or Wildfires as they call them in Canadian)
