We follow the recommendations from the American Heartworm Society and recommend year round heartworm and flea prevention even here in Kentucky. You can never be sure when you will see that last or first mosquito of the season. It is much safer for a pet to be on prevention and have peace of mind knowing you furry companion is protected against parasites.

The American Heartworm Society is a great resource to both veterinarians and pet owner!

Charli has been coming to our Richmond Road location since she was 9 weeks old.  She finished her puppy series of vaccines yesterday.  We are happy that Charli's immune system is ready for the world, but we are sad that it will be more than a month before we get to see her again!

As you may have noticed, we are in process of changing from Afford-A-Vet to Blue Paw Primary Pet Care. We will be updating our online pharmacy and currently in the process of transferring your auto-ships to our new store. Please follow the following directions to ensure you continue to receive your medications timely.

Auto-ship members will receive a NEW email reporting that they have a new prescription is ready. Please follow the link to finalize information, add credit card/shipping info, and approve the order.

If you are not an auto-ship member currently ordering from our Pasadena or Richmond Road location, please set up a new account with our new online pharmacy when available.

Please pay close attention to your next couple of auto-ships. Call or email us if you are having any issues.
