A great article from The Horseman publication supporting the fact that horses actually DON'T need humans to be alpha leaders! In fact, horses actually don't even view humans as such!

I know this will ruffle feathers, and many will choose not to read the shared article, but the proof is out there, and this article properly referenced sources to back up it's statements.

So many longtime misconceptions debunked. ie: "join up," reason behind licking and chewing, the alpha leader in the herd concept, and more.

Rather than trying to assume a position of dominance, humane equine training involves the basic learning principles of ethical equitation.
