🐾 RECOMMENDATIONS! 🐾

🙃 There is so much info out there ... sometimes it can be hard to know where to start.

🙌 It can be helpful if we can be guided to different resources ... so I thought I would share a few with you this week.

👉 First up - ensuring your dog's nails aren't too long. Long nails can change the way your dog uses their whole limb which then has a knock on effect throughout the body.

💅🏻 Burleigh was dragging me into the see the lovely Amy of Amity Grooming Salon last week for a nail trim - apologies for the rubbish photo! Next time I will try and remember to take before & after photos!

😱 If you're not comfortable cutting your dog's nails, then please ask for assistance.

🐾 DOG GROOMER OPPORTUNITY 🐾

Amity Grooming Salon has been open for 2 and a half years now and I'm looking to bring in a little extra help!
The opportunity I can offer will depend on the person I find but they would ideally already be a student who is becoming a qualified groomer or is already a working groomer.
⭐️ So are you a student looking for some extra experience and support to further your skills? To experience what it's like to run your own private salon? Or are you in the position to look for a place to rent one day a week - full time? ⭐️
I am open to discussion about the type of opportunity for the right person.

My salon is a secure, fully insulated building with good ventilation and AC, so is a very comfortable working environment. I further focus on offering quality grooms, using all natural products and kind handling, rather than pushing through a high volume of clients. So, especially for somebody at the beginning of their grooming career I wouldn't ever be pressuring them to lose quality for speed. I would also be on hand to help if needed.

Happy New Year!

I’m back in the salon on January 8th as I took some extra time after Christmas to reset and to prepare for 2024!
This week I’ve been working through my booking list so all of my regulars are looked after before I open any spaces to new clients (so don’t worry if you’re waiting for a reply) 💌 and of course I’ve been tackling some of the boring paperwork and jobs in the salon… but the most exciting and time consuming this week is that I’ve been creating my own website! 😁 I’ll share it once it is up and live but thank you for all of the support I’ve had over the last 2 years ❤️ I have so many plans for the salon but… one step at a time 😉

Last night I attended the England’s Business Awards for my little salon & had a wonderful night, mainly because of this amazing table of finalists… now winners! 🏆
