A small, but incredibly significant litter for Wanderlust Garter Snakes. To my knowledge, these two are the hobby's first outcrossed heterozygous t+ albino wandering garter snakes. Big things are happening around here and I can't stress enough how blessed I have been. Being trusted with such an incredible and exciting project by the original breeder of the t+ albino wandering line has been nothing short of a dream come true and words can't fully express my appreciation and heart felt gratitude for the opportunities and experiences I have had as a breeder of these wonderful animals. I hope my work and proper representation has and will continue to make you as proud as it has made me, as I continue working to establish the gene and expand upon this beautiful family tree by further outcrossing and growing the captive born and bred population of wandering garter snakes. Working with and representing this subspecies in captivity is pure excitement, love, and entirely passion driven. I am grateful for anyone who has supported this journey or even expressed interest in the work I have done. An intentional shout out to Brett Dunn from Garters Dunn Right for the mentorship and friendship over the years, since I have started working with these animals. Anyone celebrate National Reptile Appreciation Day this weekend? We did! Me and my girls spent the weekend bonding with our snakes and cleaning up our favorite local herpetological ecosystem in our beautiful city, Willow Lake! The importance of the local colubrids in northern Arizona is something so unfortunately underappreciated and underrepresented by the public. It was incredible watching my children make such a positive impact on one of their natural habitats today and I'm sure the lizards and snakes that were watching were just as proud as I was! πŸ‘©β€β€οΈβ€πŸ‘©β€οΈπŸ
