Well guys and gals, it's time to announce our separation from breeding garter snakes. A lot has taken place with my health over the past couple years and after a lot of thoughtful contemplation and planning, I have decided to pass my beautiful tham fam into the beyond capable hands of my friend and colleague, Brett Dunn. I am sure I'll wind up with a snake again one day (just one next time 😉), so this isn't goodbye, but for Wanderlust... Today one door closes. And a new one opens. The Wanderlust mission, vision, and breeding plans will live on through Garters Dunn Right. I couldn't think of a better individual to hold the significance of our projects and the importance of our animal's welfare than Brett and I know my boys and girls are thriving in their new homes with him. I can't wait to continue watching y'all grow as reptile keepers, enthusiasts, breeders, and for some of you as fellow master herpetologists. Y'all have been my colleagues, my friends... Mentors and associates... I'm grateful for the years of fun and am grateful for the bonds that I have created with all of you and especially with the reptiles I have been blessed to have the opportunity to care for over the years. A small, but incredibly significant litter for Wanderlust Garter Snakes. To my knowledge, these two are the hobby's first outcrossed heterozygous t+ albino wandering garter snakes. Big things are happening around here and I can't stress enough how blessed I have been. Being trusted with such an incredible and exciting project by the original breeder of the t+ albino wandering line has been nothing short of a dream come true and words can't fully express my appreciation and heart felt gratitude for the opportunities and experiences I have had as a breeder of these wonderful animals. I hope my work and proper representation has and will continue to make you as proud as it has made me, as I continue working to establish the gene and expand upon this beautiful family tree by further outcrossing and growing the captive born and bred population of wandering garter snakes. Working with and representing this subspecies in captivity is pure excitement, love, and entirely passion driven. I am grateful for anyone who has supported this journey or even expressed interest in the work I have done. An intentional shout out to Brett Dunn from Garters Dunn Right for the mentorship and friendship over the years, since I have started working with these animals. I've come a long way and owe so much of my knowledge and success to your inclusive mentality, representation of garter snakes, business and breeding ethics, kindness, and your hopes that I do indeed thrive in this hobby as a new breeder.
