✨ Update on Snape 🐾💖
Many of you have been asking about Snape, and we’re thrilled to share some wonderful news! 🥹 As you know, Snape has endured trauma that never should’ve happened. When he came back into our care, he was very sick and afraid. 💔 But with love and patience, he’s been nursed back to health. While his body has healed, his fear remains—a reminder of what he’s been through.
Because of his fearful nature, Snape needs a home or rescue that can truly understand him, work with him, and give him the time and love he deserves. 🏡 Here in Texas, while there are amazing homes, the overwhelming overpopulation of animals makes it challenging to find the right fit. Our ultimate goal is always to adopt out of state, and we’re so excited to announce that Snape has an incredible new opportunity! 🌎
An amazing Canadian rescue we’ve worked with many times has stepped in to help. They’ve agreed to take Snape in, and the founder herself will foster him. ❤️ She’ll give him all the time he needs to adjust and will personally ensure he finds the perfect local home near her—so she can continue to be there for him if he ever needs her.
This move is a huge step forward for Snape, taking him far away from the trauma of his past and into a brighter future with someone who will help him grow, learn to trust, and feel safe again. 🐶💞 Snape is such a sweet and loving pup once he knows you won’t hurt him. When he trusts you, his love is endless, because his heart is so full of it to give.

Betty Lou is quite the character! 😏 She’s never shy about sharing her opinions, and her playful sass will keep you laughing. 😂 But don’t let her bold personality fool you – underneath it all, she’s a total softie who loves snuggles and affection. 🥰🐶
Currently living her best life with her foster family, Betty Lou is a social butterfly 🦋, happily playing with her foster siblings and showing she’s great at setting boundaries. 💃 She walks like a pro on leash during group walks 🐾🚶♀️, ready to explore the big, wide world. 🌎 Oh, and if you want to win her over? One thing’s for sure: Betty Lou loves her humans. 🥹 She’s all about staying close and can get anxious when left alone. 🐾💔 She’s looking for a home where her people are around most of the time – she thrives on that connection. 💞🏡
Smart as a whip 🧠⚡️ (maybe too smart!), Betty Lou needs a family who knows she’s a clever pup and will keep her safe. A standard wire kennel? Nope, not for her! 🚫 She’ll need an impact crate for her safety and comfort. 💪🔒 That said, she’s perfectly content snoozing outside a crate when her humans are nearby. 🛌👫Betty Lou is the total package – sass, smarts, and sweetness all rolled into one adorable pup! 🎉🐕
Betty Lou Who 🐾 does have an MDR1 condition, which means she can only take Interceptor Plus for heartworm prevention ❤️ and Bravecto for flea and tick prevention 🛡️. If she takes anything else, it could cause seizures, so it’s absolutely vital to stick to these specific preventatives throughout her life. 💊🐶

Spock is on the hunt for a strong alpha owner, preferably male. 💪 He’s potty trained but needs an impact crate because, let’s face it, he’s too smart for his own good 🧠 and will Houdini his way out of a regular wired crate. 🚪❌ He doesn’t like being confined and thrives on being around his people. ❤️
Spock is obsessed with balls (the toy kind! 😜), but he hasn’t quite figured out the “bring it back” part yet. 🤷♂️😂 He needs an experienced owner who knows all about husky shenanigans and can laugh at their antics because Spock is the ultimate husky definition! 🐕❄️

SOS. Betty just had a Seizure that lasted over 7 minutes! She is currently being rushed to Deason for an emergency visit and we desperately need help with donations!
