Another great trip to South Dakota , a couple of weeks ago. Even though it seemed like the bird numbers , were not as good as last year. The great group of guys we were with made the difference .

Had a pretty exciting weekend , my pup Ella got her first point on a grouse and tried taking on a porcupine . Her Mom Emmi retrieved a crippled grouse.

We Managed to get through getting there tails docked today . There all doing well , hopefully they turn out ok .

It was a long night for me and my son Lorenzo. Emmi started delivering pups 6:30 pm yesterday to 4:30 am this morning. She did great for her first litter. She’s proving to be an excellent mom , I like that she is so careful with them . 6- males 3 females . Now the work begins

We’re a month into Emmis breeding, and she’s showing all the signs of being pregnant . Still have a couple of spots available. I’ll keep updating as she progresses

This past weekend 3 of the vom speidel dogs tested for AZP all three dogs received prize 1 Emmi , Enzo , and Eddi . It was a long summer of training a special thanks to Gabe for being my crutch through all the training.
