New drying station set up in the garage 🙌🏼 this should allow me to dry more things more effectively than my half hearted attempt last year that blocked all of my shelving the front of our garage. This took me about 5 min to put up and $20. I’ve got some cute ideas for dried flowers coming in the next couple of months! 😁
9 trays of various things planted today. It felt good to get a lot of these little babies into the ground even though it’s a bit later in the season than I meant to have them planted. Lupine, Scabiosa, forget me nots, bunny tails grass, honeywort, bupleurum, and monarda got planted.
Succession 1 of ranunculus went in today. My little buddy is never far when I’m working. Not pictured is Zack who pulled tons of weeds and help transplant perennials as well 🩵 it’s going to be a beautiful spring 🌸
Here are some of the beauties that will make it into subscriber bouquets for tomorrow 🤍
Some of the zinnias that are in bloom right now 😍 Queen lime blush, Queen lime red, and @blommaflowerfarm parchment shades
It was a very wet anemone harvest yesterday, but the biggest one yet! It rained all day long and I was drenched after just a few minutes outside. These cuties are really starting to hit their stride. They’ll be making it into bouquets very soon 😁
First spring bouquets to go out 🤍
Coming in April! Brighten up the room with unique local and organic Tulip, Ranunculus, and Anemone bouquets 💐 $25 each, or 2 for $40. DM me or email me at [email protected] if you have any questions or want to place an order!
Last weekend we worked on prepping the growing space at my parents house I will be using this year (thanks mom and dad!) we got 2.5 of the 50’ rows covered in compost with the tractor until it got too muddy to make another trip up the hill without getting stuck. It was getting more and more slick with each trip (see the power slide at the end 😂) This is definitely not the optimal time to do bed prep, but we are making it work. My dad never turns down a challenge with his tractor. This weekend we will fence the area to keep the deer and turkeys out. And in just a couple more weeks, some of the plants will be going in the ground! 🌱😁
