January 21 update.
Taken at Laughing Horses Ranch, Deer Park Wisconsin.
We trailed here for a Scotland/horse homeschool event. Here I did a presentation on the AQHA Ranching Heritage Young Horse Development program. I didn't plan out the speech so I struggled a bit to know what to say, but after doing the speech once I did better. Here Pepin had wild adventures such as, giant soccer balls, yelling kids running around, kids petting him ( he loved the attention), and being ponied off our pony John Wayne. It was wild but we had fun. Special thanks to Tammy Belise for inviting me to share about AQHA, and for all the fun that came with it. ( pictures in next post!)

January 8th update. In the top video we worked on leading and stopping, and backing up. In the bottom video we are doing exercises for standing at a post and pressure on the halter means to step up. When he steps up he gets a reward of release from the pressure on the halter.

January 8th update. We worked for 20 minutes today. Here we were working on standing square. Pepin is amazing at it.

After long months of thinking, I decided on a name: Pepin. His registered name is ShinyPepFreckles. His mother's nickname is Lil' Pep. Keeping Pep in the name I decided on the name Pepin.
