Well, we've never had a single kitten born to one of our British Shorthairs before. 'Pearl' came into the world by cesarian on Jan 21. We prefer litters with siblings so they can all play, interact and not become lonely. In preparation, Michele bought this kitten a heart stuffie that makes a heartbeat sound and a purple monster that purrs so this kitten should never be lonely if mom leaves the queening box for any reason.

We had a special queen 'Baby'that was a joy to have and produced beautiful kittens. We were even happier when my mother adopted Baby after she retired and gave her a forever home with lots of love.

The joy a British Shorthair can bring to a senior can not be understated. 'Baby' gives as much love as she receives and helps fill the void of loneliness common in seniors.

Everyone should be given the opportunity to care for and be loved by a pet.

Meet Kitty Magic's Michele Langelier. Michele has been breeding chocolate, blue, black and lilac colour kittens for many years and enjoys watching 'Kitty TV' (the entertaining antics of the kittens playing and growing up in our home). Michele was born in Nanaimo and enjoys island life but also enjoys showing our Championship cats and her Champion dog, Cindy Lou, a Shih Tzu.
