Trying something new today at home. Beef short ribs in the camp oven with onions, carrots, potatoes, kielbasa and of course my choice of added moisture, Dr Pepper ooh yeah! Gonna do the underground method so it cooks low and slow. Let’s see how they turn out in about 3 hours.

Two homemade melamine snake racks up for grabs.

Baby rack holds 15 x 6qt tubs. Has belly heat and a thermostat. $100 obo.

Large rack holds 39 x 12qt tubs or mix and match with 28qt tubs. Has back heat and a thermostat. $200 obo.

Must have a truck or trailer for the large very heavy rack. I will help load but will not deliver. Located in Henderson near Racetrack and Burkholder.

A minor tragedy struck here today. Not exactly sure what happened. I was cleaning last night and everything was fine. Came in today to a pretty bad smell and found 8 babies had died. The thermostat for some reason had shot up to 180 degrees. I unplugged the tape and let it cool down. Checked the tape and didn’t find anything suspicious. Just a reminder for everyone to always check your thermostats and heat tape constantly. 7 out of the 8 babies left seem fine. One is alive but on the fence of survival. Let’s hope she makes it.

I think this one I’ll keep. Female Anery Tessera 100% double het Amel and Palmetto possible het Hypo and Strawberry. I know that’s a lot going on that most people don’t know anything about. The one thing about Corn Snakes is they can be het for a lot and every clutch can be a surprise.

Looks like one dam proved out to be 100%het Amel and the Palmetto dam proved out 100%het Anery. One poor little Tessera has a pretty bad kink. Not sure any food is gonna pass through it. It’s sad but sometimes this stuff happens.
