Ellie is honestly such a sweetheart and it is so much fun capturing her beauty and kind nature ❀️
For my newer followers: Ellie is an 8 year old pure breed German Shepherd. She’s in great health! She is taking meds for arthritis, plus omega3 for a healthy coat❀️
Ellie is 100 pounds, she’s a big girl! She loves cheese, sweet potatoes, popcorn & peanutbutterπŸ§€πŸ πŸΏπŸ₯œShe loves finding sticks on our walk. Ellie walks 8 kilometres or more each day. Ellie also loves soft plush toys 🧸 and tennis balls 🎾. Her favourite thing is squeaking her toys loudly while mom and dad are trying to watch a movie πŸ˜‚

This little fur butt had a check up with the vet this morningπŸ‘©β€βš•οΈ
Good news is her heart is healthy ❀️ and her overall health is great! Because she is 8 years old now we were worried about her aging well and checking to see how her joints are. Also, Ellie gets so itchy in the winter we wanted a solution for that. The vet has suggested an anti-itch medicine, more omega3 in her diet with a supplement, and some medicine to reduce inflammation and pain in her joints.

Overall, we are happy our big girl is happy and healthy and there are some good suggestions to keep her comfortable and aging well πŸ’•
