They say a sister is the best friend you will ever have and that's just the case with beautiful Luna and Lily.

From the day these two girls were on the street they never once left each other's side and can always be found together to this very day.

They are currently staying over at their foster parent's house who have been giving them loads of love and spoils however this was only a temporary situation until we could find them a forever home.

These two beautiful girls who are very quiet and soft natured by heart would be a great addition to any family

We would like to see these girls adopted together

Teddy came in as a stray and he reeeaaalllyyy needs our help!!

Teddy is a mixed salad of possible Basset /beagle /Rotti/Sharpei

Unfortunately, Teddy was unclaimed and he has a cherry eye that we need to have treated.

We have gotten quotes to fix his eye which will be done regardless, so we can place him for adoption ASAP.

Our cheapest quote is R3500 to fix him up and get him looking all spiffy for his new, 1 day, forever family

Please can we plea to all of you amazing supporters to help us raise the funds needed for his op so we can give this Teddy Bear 🐻 a chance. We would all be so so grateful 🩵🐾🩵🐾

This was such a fantastic rescue by a Modderfontein family. They called for advice and executed their first wildlife rescue perfectly!!!!

Mommy and 6 babies were reunited at the dam. How rewarding... Well done 💚

Update: The owners of this boy contacted us shortly after we ran the post and confirmed that this is their cat that has been missing for 4 weeks. Thank you to the resident from Thornhill Manner for taking such good care of him. He has been reunited with his family 🐾

Awesome Update:

Our two Modderfontein Dam girls were finally loaded into the car and taken to their temporary foster home. They were very stressed in transit and when they reached their new property but after a few hours, they started to decompress. They are slowly checking out their new abode and have both eaten.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers and our foster parents for giving these girls a chance. On Monday they will be off to St Francis Veterinary Hospital for a good health check etc.

Fabulous temporary Foster found!

After two weeks of trying to get these dogs to safety we finally earned their trust. These girls are in dire need of a temporary foster. They are very affectionate and desperate to be touched and loved. At this stage we are not certain how they will react to other dogs or cats but this will be tested. It was brought to our attention yesterday that the The Fourways Farmers Market would be hosting a Chinese New Year's event in February with a display of fireworks and lanterns. Those familiar with the area are privileged to share the area with the wildlife within the reserve along with the magnificent birdlife in and around the dam area. This event would have been catastrophic for our animals.

We are pleased to say that Fourways Farmers Market heard the Community and have done the right thing for our animals and there will be no fireworks or lantern display. Thank you!
