How many people know what is poisonous/bad for their dogs? Especially over this festive season Here's a short list:

- Chocolate (don't let your fur kids steal your favourite present!) 😋
- Grapes (mince pies, Christmas pudding, Christmas cake)
- Onions (I think the wind they will pass will be bad enough) 😄
- Human food (Generally this is far to spicy and rich for them, something like plain chicken and rice is a nice treat) 👍

WARNING: This is neither dog nor cat related.....
So.... while I don't advocate keeping wild animals, we have the privilege of taking care of this precious little guy. His name is Zorro and he's all the way from the Free State. To make a long story short, his mother was killed and when a client of my partner heard I was a Vet nurse decided to give him to us.

He loves playing with my dog and 2 of my cats and is the light of my life. I have to admit I don't know much about Meerkats as they are obviously wild animals but he is so lovable and clever!

He sleeps in the bed with us most nights, otherwise goes and curls up to 1 of the dogs, usually my female, Lexi. I order special food for him online and its delivered via courier 😂

His favourite things to do is sun bathe and bite ears!

I have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse for almost 20 years and love it just as much as I did on day 1.
I studied and worked in the UK, gaining a lot of valuable experience.
