Hello, let’s get to know each other! My name is Ashleigh.
The handsome floof in the picture is Barney, my rescue dog.. and the love of my life..wearing the first ever dog suit I made.
I am 28, and outside of rubble i work as a full time ladies & kidswear designer for some of your favourite high street stores! I get to see people wearing clothes that I have designed.. and it’s absolutely fabulous!
Sewing has always been my passion, before I worked in fashion I worked as a costume designer in theatres up and down the country making fabulous frocks for stage & screen (swipe to see me backstage with the most beautiful dame you ever did see.. and the b***s she let me borrow!
I have always loved animals. I grew up with dogs and before barney came my first true love.. my huge house rabbit, Dusty!
Adopting Barney was the single best thing I have ever done, he brings me joy every single day & without him this journey would have never started.
Rubble gives me the opportunity to combine my love of furry companions with my love of sewing, and I honestly couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time! Now I get to see dogs in my designs as well as humans, and that is just the best thing ever!!
