Catopia CAT Sanctuary Catopia is a Cat Sanctuary for abandon, abuse and feral kitties. I started this in 2004 to help with an overpopulated area in Tracy, Ca.

I've found homes for over 120 cats and kittens over the years. Ones that didn't get a home live out there lives here.

Update:My kitty was in bad shape they drained a yellowish liquid from his lungs about 130cc they say he is jaundice could have a fatty liver but no way to tell without a sonogram. They are referring me to a vet in chico and hopefully they can get me i soon
Vet bill was 850 and the sonogram will be about 500 not counting the office visit for an emergency appt..he is home now and doing ok just need to get him to eat.

Came home from the weekend and had to take heathcliff to the vet. Heathcliff is there for the night, he has fluid around his lungs and they have to put in a tap to see if its puss or fluid..

Took a good part of of yesterday but I finished it..rearrange the catio, modified 2 of the 3 cat trees that was donated....

Finally got a new dog/cat house for the catio. It was cheaper to buy 2 large dog houses then it was to by 1 cat house go figure..put them together with cardboard insulation and a nice heated blanket. Now no worries when the weather gets cold..

The neighbor next door that had 6 cats has been neglecting her kitties(she has been sick the last 2 mons), they have been coming to my place and taken over my kitty's food bowl..Will looking for new homes for the friendly ones. Will post pictures!! They are about a 12 to 14 months old..TopCats was awesome they sent me food for them

This Molly Muffen Bunny she came to me about a month ago..I was told she was social she is Not..does not like other kitties and doesn't like to be touched at all..its going to be difficult but I will get her use to people and other kitties!

Having the pge fire safty shutdown puts a little stress on the kitties. The sounds of all the generators makes them a little nervous.

This a sanctuary for abandon, abused and feral kitties..

I’ve been doing this since 2004 when I lived in Tracy, Ca. I noticed in my area a lot of cats roaming the area and with the help of a local rescue helped me with a trap and release program. I took in over 70 cats and kittens and rehabilitated and found furrever homes for them. The ones that were too traumatized and feral I created a safe haven for them. So they’ll be able to live out the rest of their lives in comfort.

In Aug 2018 I moved to Magalia,Ca where I have a 3rd acre to spread out the sanctuary. Which was a great thing for the animals..

When the Camp Fire hit in Nov 8, 2018 I was lucky that I haven’t fully moved in and no kitties where affected..I am on the way to expand the area so they will have more room to run and play..
