The layout for our new home.
(My best attempt on a phone. We can fit in 40 yards for our Sanctuary dogs in Section A).

The best price we could get so far on Clearview panels, is R833 exl. per panel. We need 175 panels. We also need cement and precast walling to build little houses for our dogs to sleep in at night. Pallets with 1.2 meter length planks are also needed. It is no small thing. It's monumental. We are hoping and praying for miracles here.

Section A is where we will have large and comfortable yards for each of our Sanctuary dogs. No more cold, hard concrete. Section B is where we will have 8 boarding kennels. Section C is where there will be 5 large play camps. The open portion between A and B and C, is where we will do on site fundraising events, such as markets.

The horses will be in the large turquoise block. The four yellow blocks next to this, is where the pairs will be, such as Cassey and Scar, Dino and Arya, Drogo and Nala and two personal dogs, Jeep and Kyra. The red blocks is for Marley, Leah, Tarzan and Ben. Purple indicates the space for the pack dogs. The orange block is a cattio.

We really do need all the help we can get to successfully pull this off. If you can sponsor a panel or two, please do so here:

**Pretoria East**

Alfie is a young brindle Bostie boy and came to us as a stray from a JHB township.
Alfie is very social, and gets on fine with dogs and kids. He needs a couple procedures done - and for us to do these, he needs to be at a foster home.

- He’s got a bad cherry eye that needs correcting soonest
- He needs to be neutered
- He needs his nostrils widened
- And he needs his baby teeth pulled

He will wear a cone for 10 days to protect the eye.

We’ve had Alfie with other dogs so we know he is social - but he’s not sterilised so he does mark a bit when he enters a new area for the 1st time. He is also a taller Bostie, so he can jump, he needs a safe yard.

He is very skinny and definitely needs to put on some weight.

Can anyone help us with fostering him after his surgeries? There’s no special care involved, just him wearing a cone and getting eye drops twice a day. He will see the vet bi-weekly and should be be able to be adopted within a month.

Please email us at [email protected] if you want to help us out with Alfie.

🐾 Meet Millie (3) and Chillie (2), two loving souls who are looking for a home 🐾

Millie and Chillie have been cherished members of their family, filling their days with joy, laughter, and endless tail wags. They adore children and have always been the best playmates, sharing their boundless energy and affection without reserve.

Millie and Chillie are not social with other dogs and cats. They are good with children.

Recently, Millie and Chillie faced a heartbreaking reality: their family is immigrating, and despite numerous efforts, they are unable to take their beloved pets with them. It's a decision filled with sorrow, as their family loves them deeply, but circumstances have made it impossible for Millie and Chillie to join their journey.

Despite this challenging situation, Millie and Chillie remain hopeful, trusting that there's a special family out there who will open their hearts and home to them. They dream of playful days in the backyard, cozy evenings by the fire, and the simple joy of being loved and cherished once again.

If you have room in your heart and home for Millie and Chillie, please reach out. They promise to fill your life with unconditional love, laughter, and companionship. Let's ensure their story continues with a new beginning filled with happiness and warmth. 🏡💕

Their adoption fee is R1100. They sterilised, vaccinated, and microchipped. Currently in Cape Town. Home checks apply.

Please contact us at [email protected] if you want to know more about them. To apply to adopt, please follow this link: http://bostonterrier.org.za/adoption-application/

The Pit Bull Sanctuary houses 3 dozen Pits and Pit type dogs.
We also have 3 resident horses (safely away from any of the dogs), a whole lot of Guinea Pigs (it took some time, head aches, frustration, funds and work, to get a hold on preventing the little souls to stop multiplying. The piggies are here because of human stupidity and Chantelle saying “I will fix this as well.” We have mercy buy chickens (four) and since Chantelle took over their care also, their condition is 👌🏼 and they are beautiful chickens. Also added to the mix, are two cats. The one is a ginger and is as sweet as pie. The petite black one, is crazy 🤪 🙄

It is HARD work and lots of money to care for all these rescued souls. And to make sure no one gets to someone they shouldn’t get to. Airport Pets is like a second home to our sanctuary Manager.

These animals honestly get the absolute best we can give them. The more support we get, the more we can do and the better their Sanctuary stay is. We really want to get play camps up and a long run, for the high energy dogs, so we can get rid of that pent up drive. This is actually quite urgent and desperately needed. We are praying for miracles. We’ve been praying since January. Please, please do assist us, if you are in a position to do so. If we could put up ‘draad’ fence, we would. But if these dogs get to each other, it’s a big problem. If they get to our neighbour’s show jumping horses or our resident horses, piggies or cats, it’s a moerse problem. We have our day to day expenses, those recurring ones: Rent, food, wages, treats, etc. And then the biiiiig ones, that we are trying to get to by gnashing of teeth and loads anxiety.

If you are in a position to contribute to our work (and actually our hearts desires for the dogs) please do so by means of this account:

Lucern and pellets for the piggies
Tubs of treats for the dogs
A cone for Tarzan, because that guy is very much of certainly going to dig into his stitches 🙄

The quality of life you give to your animals is a reflection of you as a person. All animals deserve a home, but not all people deserve an animal.

I just dont have words.... Adorabull has never been in the financial strain it's currently in. This while having to fork out for boarding kennels to try help as many dogs as possible, assist families who have had Adorabull dogs for years when they fall on hard times but it seems no one understands the financial pressure we are under.

Adorabull is not a bottomless pit, it's not a trust fund baby... it's hard work from working volunteers, qualified people who don't take a cent from the rescue to even cover their costs, fundraising and auctioning as best we can with the little we have, but we are just not making it.

I know everyone is feeling the crunch but if we don't get some funds in to make a dent on all our responsibilities there may not be a rescue to speak of anymore.

If you have a spare bit of change or a lot of change... and you've got faith in what we do please make a donation to Adorabull Terrier Rescue, Nedbank Clearwater Mall, account 111 094 7801, branch code 182 505, ref Save us!

Paypal is [email protected]

Please please help us see to our duty towards our breed!
