Babies are coming on nicely ๐๐nearly the size of their petite Mumma Olive ๐
They will be going for their 1st vaccination and vet check next week, 7th August ๐ฅฐ
I have Bellaโs (Peggy from Sadieโs 1st litter last year) owner Gillian coming to choose one of these beauts ๐ Iโm delighted that Gillian has decided to add to her family and give Bella a new sister ๐ฅฐ whoever she chooses will be very lucky ๐ซถ๐ผ๐ซถ๐ผ
I will keep my page updated on who Gillian chooses ๐๐
I will be looking to welcome anyone interested in the other lil floofbomb to come and visit her from next Thursday ๐๐๐

I have some very exciting newsโฆ. Meet Lily, our new baby ๐ป she is a lilac point and Iโve been wanting one for such a long time so I am ecstatic to say the least!
I cannot wait to see what beautiful babies she will produce next year. My plan (hopefully) is to pair her with a lilac stud and have lilac babies ๐
I am so in love, she has the loudest purr and been happily making biscuits since I brought her home.
Isnโt she just beautiful?!?

Update on the babiesโฆ..
The girls are doing amazing which is a huge relief after the loss of lil Louie ๐ฉต๐๐
Weโre continuing to come to terms with losing him and I picked his ashes up today and brought him home ๐ฉต
The girls are doing amazing which is a huge relief. Theyโre gaining weight and thriving. Both girls are sealpoint in colour. Lil Louie was bluepoint ๐ฉต

This is by far the hardest post Iโve ever had to do..I am struggling to even find the words to share the most heartbreaking news ๐ that sadly, our little Louie passed away late last night. I am struggling to come to terms with this.
I took him to the vet on Friday as he started to lose weight. The vet couldnโt find any reason for this and said he was healthy albeit, he had lost weight and the advice was to feed him myself as well as encouraging him to latch and feed from Olive.
This initially worked and he started to gain weight again but yesterday morning, he started to deteriorate again and despite my every efforts, I couldnโt save him. We comforted him until he took his last breath lying on my chest ๐
10 days of us loving and caring for him. Life is just so cruel.
To say we are heartbroken is an understatement ๐๐๐

Poppyโs eyes opened today and Louie and Willowโs are starting to open ๐๐ฉต๐ all doing well and Mum Olive is just the best ๐ป
Still trying to figure out their colours as the girls are getting darker than Louie.. will know for sure as their colours continue to develop ๐ป

Update on the babiesโฆ all doing amazing and gaining great weight. All double their birth weight and starting to move around the nest ๐ป
Their eyes are starting to look like theyโll be opening soon โค๏ธ
Olive is just an amazing mum, very attentive and back to her usual crazy, playful self running around doing zoomies!
Still deciding on temporary nest names.. our little yellow collared girl sure lies in the funniest and cutest positions ๐

We have news ๐จ๐จ๐จ
Our little Olive has had her babies ๐ she went into labour (on my bed) and woke me at 6.30 this morning with kitten no 1 following quickly after, kitten no 2 (very vocal) followed a good bit later and then the last kitten about an hour later.
A longer labour than Iโve experienced with Bonnie and Sadie but she was super relaxed and purred the full time providing I was right there next to her giving her support. If I moved she moved so I was very much stuck right there beside which I wouldnโt have had any other way. She done AMAZING!
Both mumma and babies are all doing great, latching and suckling away and Olive is such an attentive and sweet Mumma..

A lil Olive updateโฆ sheโs doing great! Still has energy and does the occasional zoomie and then flops as though โI shouldnโt have done thatโ ๐ she is due anytime from Monday next week.. hoping she wonโt birth earlier and itโs my daughterโs 16th birthday on the Sunday ๐ซฃ and I canโt be doing midwifery duties that day ๐
She is still very petite and unless you know her, wouldnโt think she was pregnant. She does have a solid rugby shaped tummy and loads of kitten movement so thereโs definitely 2 at the least in there. Praying for a plain sailing delivery and healthy babies.. will keep the page updated on Oliveโs progress..

The babies had their final vet check yesterday along with 2nd vaccination and microchip.
They were all super brave and the vet was impressed with how well they behaved. They are all absolute chunks and the biggest litter I have had at this age. Weights:
๐ Joey 1.54kg
๐ Nellie 1.46kg - a gain of 495g in 3 weeks ๐ณ
๐ Doey 1.38kg
๐ Winnie 1.34kg
All the staff complimented the babies and how beautiful they all are ๐ฅฐ full bill of health for all 4 which means, they will fly the nest next week when they are 13 weeks old.. we are going to miss the madness and laughs they give us daily but, they are all going to be truly loved and spoiled by their new families and they are all super excited to take their babies home ๐ฅฐ

Managed to get our little escapee Joey on video.. heโs switched up his skills and no longer jumping from the cat tree (as I moved it too far away) and can now jump the pen ๐ 3 times this morning before I left for work so the pen got opened up for them to just explore.. also, didnโt want this boy injuring himself as he almost done a flip as he landed ๐
