In the past 1-2 months, my pup started itching really badly(non-diet related). I later found out that Dec-April is the peak for seasonal allergies. I started giving him bee pollen as a natural remedy. Surprisingly, it drastically reduced his itching/slight rashes.

Bee pollen contains Quercetin, a natural antihistamine. Aside from allergy relief, it’s known to boost metabolism and support liver and digestive health.

I’m currently giving it to him 3-4 times a week. It worked for me and I hope it works for you too 😊

🐏 Lamb leg, heart, liver
🐖 Pork tenderloin, tongue, tail
🥦 Kale, broccoli, carrots, sweet potato
🐟 Atlantic mackerel, cooked blue mussels
🥛 Kefir

Just being a bit extra, but sometimes it’s fun to make meals look somewhat presentable 😁
In this meal, I added kefir, tree bark powder and frozen pea sprouts.
🥛These are entirely not necessary, but I love to give kefir daily because I believe it has helped my pup’s gut health ever since.
🌿Tree Bark powder is given every now and then for an extra boost.
🌱Pea sprouts? Just some leftovers from the freezer!

Essentially I think both cow and goat milk kefir are great additions to your pets’ meals. Kudos to you if you’re already adding either!
Goat milk kefir will be a better alternative for pets who are prone to allergies or simply don’t do well on cow products!
One example is my own 🐕‍🦺 who inspired me to start this in the first place!

Apparently kefir goes well with flowers too 😂
He gets approx. 50ml of kefir a day (3-4 tbsp). My recommendation is 1/2 - 1 tbsp per 7kg. Please tailor the amount to your pet’s weight and health requirements and monitor accordingly 😊
