Very rusty schooling session today🌼
So nice to be back jumping😊
Quick spin out for some jumping practice😊
As my gap year is coming to an end, i’ve taken some time to look back on our progress from our first ever trot to our last lesson before i move away for uni! Looking through the videos, the difference is huge!
So proud of our hard work and can’t wait to see what the future brings! ❤️🔥
A little snippet of our lesson this weekend! Building it all back up slowly focusing on balance and straightness!
Thank you Horse Riding Coach - Ruth Gladman BHSII for another brilliant lesson🥰
That new field feeling 🌾💗
Exercising both babies today🥹
Today we did something super exciting! Our first little jump since March!
Small steps in the right direction😊💗
Today, Maevey has been mine for a whole year!
As much as i would have loved to have done something a bit more exciting than hack around the block but due to maeve still recovering we are taking this slow! This hack really did put things into perspective with how much maevey has come on in just a year! I would never have thought we would have made it round the block by ourselves 6 months ago let alone a year ago, especially when it’s blowing a hoolie💨She has grown in confidence and we are trusting eachother more than ever! It’s definitely the little things that go unnoticed in day to day life💕How lucky am i to have such a gentle, willing and loving horse? Here’s to more years🥂
A little appreciation video on how far maevey has come with being caught in the field🥰
A really positive morning with Andrea at Penskyber Equestrian Centre yesterday morning!
Maeves first proper go at jumping a course and her first time seeing colourful jumps! She took everything in her stride and behaved amazingly!💗
Happy Love day everyone💗💗💗
6 months with maevey! Can’t wait to see what the next have in store for us🤞🏼🤩
Lovely evening at arena hire! Only Maeveys third time working away from home and we worked hard on her feeling relaxed and comfortable as well as lots of circles and bending exercises to improve her neck flexion💕
✨Another day out for Maevey✨
Over the half term we ventured over to Moor Farm to have a play in the school! This included lots of firsts for Maeve such as going on a long journey to be schooled and working in an indoor arena!
She worked very well while she’s learning all about bending and canter work and to top it off, she even loaded first time to come home!!!! So happy with her behaviour and as always a very educational trip!🥰
Can’t believe this is the same horse who didn’t even know what to do with a cross pole a few weeks ago! So excited about her progress!🥰🥰
Maevey being super while learning all about jumping life!😊
Although i am rusty when it comes to jumping she was really getting the hang of it by the end of the session!
