While pet birds can be as different and demanding as children,it should not be forgotten that they are still wild animals .
This is where making such a behavioural comparisons as above will go some way towards helping us to understand the world from the birds perspective.
They are perfectly to their natural surroundings.
It is only our unrealistic expectations of their behaviour in our strange ,artificial environment that causes problems in our relationships with them.
If the situation were reversed,we would most likely have great difficulty adapting to life in the wild.
We often ask lot of our charges and it is our duty to understand as much as possible about their wild needs in order for them to properly live in harmony in our homes
