Meet SHS' longest resident, Loki Larry. Loki's been with us for over 800 days with little interest, and we struggle to understand why. This spirited and playful pup has been waiting for someone to take a chance on him. Loki Larry has a lot of energy and needs to go to a home with older children that is cat-free. He would thrive with lots of space to run and play and would make a wonderful pup for anyone who lives an active lifestyle. Let's make this Loki's last year he spends at our shelter. I must say Phoebe was quite the comedian! I asked her to tell me a story. She said “there once was a man from Nantucket. He was always carrying a bucket. Not what you thought huh? In that bucket lied many fish just to tease us and say let’s muck it. OK no more poems.” I always appreciate when they have a sense of humor which happens a lot. ZERO INTEREST IN GOOD BOY HOWARD! BUMP!!!!

I WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKEN A KENNEL SHOT OF HOWARD BECAUSE THIS STUNNING BOY JUST SITS PATIENTLY WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO NOTICE HIM. HOWARD HAS BEEN ABANDONED AND NOW SITS JUST WAITING IN THE CRITICALLY FULL SHELTER! CAN WE PLEASE GET THIS GOOD BOY INTO A HOME? PLEASE SHARE HOWARD!!!!!

First no filters on pics, Howard is just this stunning😍Secondly Howard is a good boy who gets along with everyone and knows the things! Howard will make a wonderful family member!

You can't help but notice him but most people don't go to the shelter looking for a husky mix 😭Don't walk by because Howard is awesome! Howard pulls at first on leash because he's excited to be out but quickly listens to direction. Howard sits, he lays down and he is affectionate and smart. Howard is over 2 so a pretty calm well rounded boy overall. He is polite and keeps his paws on the ground, someone loved this boy once. He is playful and can be goofy too. What more can you ask for in a new family member?!

Howard is excellent with all dogs big, small and puppies. He was interested in kitties , not aggressive but may chase. Howard is great with all people!

Howard is an absolutely stunning approx 2.5 ish year old 55 lbs Siberian husky mix. Howard is utd on vaccines and hw negative.

Meet Noodle. Parents asked me to talk with her before her surgery to let her know what was going to happen. I had a conversation with her and one thing she asked me was if she could hang out with Sarah the blonde at the vets office. Also, said after surgery she wanted chicken noodle soup because it was good for the soul with ginger in it. Mom reached out and told me that she was unusually energetics two days before the surgery. Afterwards, she enjoyed her chicken broth with ginger in it. There was a vet tech at the clinic who took care of Noodle named Sophie that was a blonde. Noodle can reassure you that she knows what’s going on. mom and dad were very grateful that she handled it like she told me she would. She said I’m ready for anything. bring it on and that’s just how she handled it. Please give the animals a voice!
