Pack walking 16 dogs as we prepare to walk by the hop yard at the farm. Pack walking helps slow the dogs down, get them working as a team, and keeps them out of the hop yard ๐บ

Camper learn to respect the car doorway as a boundary. Making the doorway a boundary makes sure pups donโt jump out when weโre picking up new dogs and keeps everyone safe and in the car until I give the okay ๐๐ผ
This isnโt the greatest video, but it shows how consistency really pays off when working with dogs. The dogs have learned that they wonโt be let out of the car at camp until theyโre calm, cool and collected. It used to take us a while to reach that state. The minute we pulled up to camp the dogs would be bouncing around the car, vocalizing, panting heavily and ready to run. So I would wait. We would sit and wait in the car until they were chill, no matter how long it took. Now when we pull up to camp we have no shenanigans, and starting our hike calm really sets the tone for the entire camp session ๐๐ผ
