This role plans animal transports, monitors program and vehicle budget and usage, monitors housing capacity, and ensures accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration and relationship-building and has prior experience in event planning, project management, and/or animal sheltering.

: A few weeks ago, this dog was found wandering outside, alone, scared, and he was brought to a local shelter.

He didn't look like this upon his arrival.

He looked, nothing, like he does today.

His fur was so heavily matted and unkept he had to be shaved down.
His feet, covered, in f***s.
His ears, thickened, red and angry with infection.
His eyes, bulging and oozing yellow discharge.
His nails, overgrown painfully into the pads of his feet.

Upon arrival it was clear he was also visually impaired, having suffered from bilateral cataracts and pigmentary keratitis. He sees very little as a result and it's possible he may require enucleation of his eyes in the future should his condition worsen.

His age? Originally It was thought he was a senior based on the condition of his eyes and skin, but his teeth?
Revealed his youth and it is estimated he is only 5 years old.

But what we do know?
He is a survivor of very severe neglect and we are grateful he is free of those who made him suffer.
