On board today is this little cutie called Nyo (Norris). She is going to Japan when old enough and done all her vaccinations and quarantine.
One of today’s guests off to their new homes.
This lively young lass is starting her journey to Iceland 🇮🇸 today. She is a little firecracker. I hope to see her again soon.
Morning walk with one of our guests. The rain does not deter us nor dampen our spirits.
This is the lovely Rhyl who is currently doing his quarantine time for Japan. He is a real character. Super enthusiastic, loves toys, loves people and is great with other dogs. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash but his favourite things are his toys and chasing his brother, Gus, who is also staying with us. Quite the happy pair. Rhyl is very easy care and very loveable....not to mention gorgeous, except when he's been playing in the mud! Thankfully, he also likes having a warm shower and being groomed.
The first ever litter of true working sheepdogs was born in India this week. The mother is Pia from Llanfarian Mirk (Hefin Jones) and Eryri Nan (Medwyn Evans) who was owned and trained by Angie (Driscoll), and Felix (Glynne Jones - Dunelle Choc x Graylees Pippa). Both Felix and Pai were shipped by us to Kathmandu, Nepal and from there to India.
This lovely pup, Shadwell Dale, from Ricky and Meg Hutchinson is jetting away to Uruguay today. What a delight he has been to have for a month. Dale is flying to Madrid and then onto Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay where he is going to be a working dog. Sheep and cattle raising are two of Uruguay's most important economic activities and their main exports are wool, meat, and hides.
This is a dog we recently shipped to Chile. He is now in Tierra del Fuego (the land of fire), which is an archipelago off the southernmost tip of the South American mainland, across the Strait of Magellan. Sheep herding started around the 1880s.
This lovely boy, Ox, is on his way to Prague, Czechia. Maybe he will become a fast runner like the legendary Czech athlete, Emil Zátopek, who won the triple crown at the 1952 Olympics - gold medals in the 5,000m, the 10,000 m and the marathon. Good luck, Ox.
Also going to Chile is Rayo. Lovely boy!
