The Nolichucky Dam, a non-power producing TVA dam near Greeneville, Tennessee, was at active risk of failure beginning Sept. 27 as a record-smashing 1.3 million gallons of water poured through and over the dam each second, obscuring the dam from view. (Hence the "The Dam has Failed" announcement). By 4 p.m. Sept. 28, TVA announced the dam was "stable and secure."

Douglas Lake Dam is currently spilling 450,000 gallons per second!
French Broad and Pidgeon Rivers, as well as Douglas Lake, haven't just broken previous water lever records, they have almost doubled previous records.

I'm ready to quit Facebook because of all of these posts that have nothing to do with my page. I keep hiding them but I keep getting dozens and dozens of them. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can stop this from happening? If not I'm going to move somewhere else.

Okay I've had a bath. Now I'm all clean and soft and smelling good, and I can't rub this smell off me fast enough.

Well, it's been 7 & 1/2 weeks since Rikki hurt her toe and needed surgery. While she is much better she is still not 100%. After two weeks of healing,, when it was almost healed, her toe got infected. So..... another 10 days of antibiotics and no running. Then we would start walking her again, slowly. As soon as we started running a little (her, not me :), she would start bleeding. Back to the vet eventually because now her nails needed clipping. (Sidebar, she is way too hyper to get her nails clipped. She had to be sedated. Never had to clip her nails in the past. Her hard running always wore her nails down naturally). Vet said no running for another couple of week. So I've just started running her again, -lightly.
I thought all was fine. She's a little out of shape, but loved it and seemed to have no problems with the paw. Until we got home and now I see it's bleeding again. Just a little, but Darn! Back to slow walks I guess.
Never thought it would take this long to heal.
